Very well done studio rack. Easy to assemble and put together. It is more solid that I expected. It comes with the wheels already on so you just need to put the side panels and the top and you are ready to go. Just some issues with the side panels that were bent a tiny bit on one corner, probably because of the shipping, but very minor and nothing I could not fix with my pliers. I also like the fact that you can put items in the back. For instance, I installed a utility shelf so I can put all my power supplies at the same place as well as my power bar as I don't need access for those in the front. So far very happy with the product (got it yesterday). Would buy it again. Very happy with my experience with B&H.

I used to have a Raxxess unit that this Smason unit replaced. The Raxesss unit fell apart after several years of use. This unit is vastly superior in every fashion It was simple to put together...just had to affix acres into the pre-drills locations. The only technical part was making sure the correct holes were facing outward as the unit comes with both US and Metric sized holes. The unit is made of solid high grade steel, which is much stronger and more durable than the typical pressure treated wood products you see in the industry. I used it to hold several RAID array hooked up to my Mac Pro...and for that purpose I could not be happier with it.

For the price, this is the most solid, easy to assemble rack I have ever purchased. It took me about 15 minutes to unpack and assemble. I was very pleasantly surprised by the casters. It includes a locking caster which is helpful. I have several custom wood racks that I love, but the Samson rack is a great value.

I needed a rack that I could wheel around, but I didn't want an MDF case, so I went with this product. Quality exceeded my expectation. Assembly was easy, although you have to be somewhat careful of sharp edges. Very generous with a full set of screws and washer (both metric and SAE). All of my gear fit perfectly. Includes rails in the front and the back, and can be configured for either metric or SAE.

Very simple design that works as it should. Shipping was a breeze.

In searching for an affordable, heavy duty steel rack for the studio I came across a lot of results. I finally took a gamble on this one due to the great price and I was seriously impressed with the build quality. This is no flimsy rack. Heavy duty steel construction, flexibility for EUR/US threads, and some nice casters. I plan on buying another one of these to use as the legs for a studio desk. Seriously, if you're looking for a modern steel rack - look no further.

I rated this rack 5 stars due to the fact that it is nearly 1/2 the price of a comparable unit on any other web site. The parts inside the box were of good quality from a finish / hole tapping standpoint, and the fact that the rack comes with side panels and casters (2 with foot-locks!) was a nice bonus as well. My son mounted a couple of VERY heavy 4U amps in this rack, and there is no visible deflection or warping of the sides or supports. Quite impressive for the cost.

I was looking for a rack that could hold over 200 lbs of gear and didn't cost too much. This rack is solid like a tank and does the job perfectly.

The instruction book alludes to this issue. Apparently the rails can be used either for English or Metric screws. Both types of screws are conveniently contained with the rack. However neither the rails or screws are marked to determine which they are. Therefore, you have to match up the correct screws and rails in order for the rack to fit together and align properly. Your preference of screw types would then be mounted towards the front of the unit.
