Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Can you use the USB-C port for power instead of the micro-USB one? Micro-USB is flimsy junk, totally unsuitable for power.

A: Yes. USB Type-C port supports video and power (from the video source) over the same cable.

Q: 2. Does this also work with the BT-35E?

A: Not that we are aware of. This is for the Epson Moverio BT-300 AR Glasses only.

Q: 3. Will this work with DJI Mavic air 2? From an iPad Pro 12.9

A: This can be used with a tablet for viewing your DJI GO4 app, but an HDMI to USB-C cable is required to connect your tablet to the Epson Moverio BT-35E Smart Glasses.

Q: 4. I want to use these with my DJI also. My only concern is, are they bright enough to use outside? Thanks

A: These are plenty bright and work well even in direct sunlight!

Q: 5. Are these glasses made of glass or plastic?

A: Th lenses are not glass. They are plastic.

Q: 6. To clarify my earlier question: Can you power the glasses with USB-C while using the HDMI port for video, to avoid using the micro-USB port for power?

A: Unfortunately no. USB-C will need to provide both power and image. Micro USB is the only input that will act as a DC power supply for the interface unit, allowing power to the unit while using HDMI for your image.

Q: 7. Is there any "virtual size" spec to compare experience of "x size tv at y distance" for reference? Thanks!

A: The virtual image will appear as a 40" monitor(16:9) display at a distance of 2.5 meters. In the link below, you will see example images showcased with the BT300 version. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i_aEDx8un6A&index=4&t=0s&list=PLyXqcW1HsHRlvvrepqeYk-RRR4QvK2OiU&app=desktop

Q: 8. Does the camera work now or you need some special app which still hasn’t been developed by developers ?

A: The glasses also feature a built-in camera for use by SDK developers. The camera function requires a dedicated SDK software development kit, which can be created through the developer's guide found on the Epson website. A: Please contact the manufacturer for more information. 800.463.7766

Q: 10. Hello guys. It’s the BT-35e compatible with DJI Inspire 1?

This AR headset is a great for remote assistance. I can easily run Microsoft Teams, Zoom, or other apps on it to have a quick start on remote assistance. I use it for my field service team. field tech with the headset can connect with our remote expert, so that the expert can see what the tech is seeing through the headset camera and provide feedback and guidance to him.

This is awesome! Its like putting your phone in a case to protect it! It has so many capabilities. People who have Temple arms that break off on the bt-200 model should get this. You got to remove the foam padding then it will be secure perfectly. Its the black padding. Not the white padding on the facepad. The black foam glued in the main pieces. This is awesome.
