Q: 4. Is it compatible with the Manfrotto Monopod XPRO Over 4 section aluminum?

A: The size of the leg and the foot are not listed unfortunately. Looking at the part list for the monopod, the foot is not listed. I would suggest trying it to see if it fits and if not, returning it.

A: The SmallRig 4114 Suction Cup Camera Mount (6") can support payloads up to 176 lb horizontally and up to 132 lb vertically. The amaran COB 60x S with a lantern or parabolic soft box is lighter. The surface you are putting it on needs to be flat, dry and smooth.

Q: 10. What size is the screw? Is it removable so I can replace it with a longer screw?

A: The screw size is 1/4"-20 and not adjustable.

The suction cup actually works, it hasn't failed the entire time i've had it. Easy to store anywhere in the camera bag, very lightweight and will be able to get some cool shots!

Perfect GoPro mount when permanent mounts are out of the question. Offers great retention for action shots like vintage Biplane flight. I will say I tethered it to the planes body as a precaution.

My hobby is photographing birds and I often come across a bird nearby a road way and use a bean bag to assist in stabilising my still camera for shots and of course my vehicle acts as hide. For video I find a bean bag or window mount gives me assistance but if possible I will get out of the car and shield myself using the car. Using this 6* suction cup on the bonnet is far more flexible and more stable than a bean bag. It really works a treat. With my Sony FDR-AX 100 it works very well for those unexpected co-operative moments.

Haven’t used it to give a review other than its well built and appears to be able to function as it should.

I didn't have much trust in this what so ever, I added a small bungee cord that went though the base and around mirror, I now have 3 hours for footage through Lamington National Park with no failure, over pot holes in mud and rain, its a solid build and i recommend.

Works great! Placed outside, on the hood of my car and it stayed on even at speeds of as high as 65 mph.

Ive seen it work up to 170 mph. The suction cup is the type that is rugged and can attach to a car body panel (doesnt pull off PPF) or a window. If you are doing this, you need to get the protective case for the camera because the lens cover doesn't take any kind of punishment; you will crack it without one. That accessory should honestly just come with this one.
