The RigWheels RP01 RigPlate serves as a resourceful component of the camera mounting hardware. Its first function is to serve as a mounting plate for attaching RigWheels. The RigPlate and 1 set of RigWheels (sold separately) provide with smooth movement as a tabletop / skater dolly that can be used on any smooth or hard surface.

Using the RigPlate as a pipe dolly gives a scalable slider / dolly option for the new generation of mid-size and compact cameras. Attaching 2 RigPlates together creates a captive-rail camera carriage that allows secure camera movement at any angle. Using the RigPlate in conjunction with RigAxels (sold separately) adds even more capability to this simple system with a more traditional tabletop dolly setup and a robust pipe-dolly option.

The RigPlate is a camera support platform and can be used for much more than camera movement. A variety of several different mounting points allow you to attach a myriad of accessories. There are ten 1/4-20 and five 3/8-16 threaded holes (industry standard sizes) in addition to four 5/16" and five 3/8" pass-through holes.

The RigPlate can be turned into a rock-solid suction mount by adding the A-Cups or B- Cups (sold separately).

I use the feet on my Manfrotto Tripod for extra support and reduce movement! Things that I like about them is that they increase the contact area and support that the tripod rest on! Which help against camera shake!

I have the older Manfrotto 3021BN. I measured the diameter of the legs and bought the correct size of these feet. Wow, a great upgrade from the ancient round plug/covers that were on my tripod. Now the legs don't slide on the floor. So far I've only used these indoors.

This is a really good product, but the only pros is that if you have a very thin tripod legs it won't be able to install it because it bigger

The standard rubber feet are great for lots of indoors shooting, and some outside work. However, for serious outdoor photography, the spikes rule. They provided extra stability on rocks, into rivers, and lots of other places where you need extra grip.

Not a lot to say except that they work as intended.

Replaced the original cups with these and they make my older bogen/manfrotto tripod much more steady. It just increases the surface area to grip to the ground because it conforms to the angle of the surface whether it is flat or not. The difference is huge. I do weddings videos and these will work great in all venues. One aspect that seems a bit worrisome is that these are flexible rubber material and the part between the pivot ball and the rubber cup can come off with slight pull. Many times I carry lighting stands and other tripods in a cart and I am sure these rubber cups will bump off at times. If manfrotto had made them in abs or metal and just added the rubber layer on the bottom would have worked better in my opinion. Over all, an excellent upgrade to my tripod and I am satisfied with its firmer grip.

I had lost one foot out in the feild somewhere and wanted to get a replacement. These were pricey but. i thought they had a good dual use. They did indeed. I can put the tripod in more situations and placements now than i could before.I wish they came with the tripod .
