A: Yes, these RAM modules are compatible.

Q: 2. Will this Ram upgrade work with a dell Insperion 15 5578? It has 2 slots. I am trying to upgrade to 16

A: Yes, it is compatible.

Q: 3. It's 8×2gb am i right?

A: This is a single 16gb Ram chip

Q: 4. Is this compatible whit the ASUS ROG Zephyrus GX501V?

A: Yes, this type of chip is compatible with this model.

Q: 5. does it fit in dell e7440?

A: No It will not fit Dell E7440 it will not work with DDR4 2400 MHz SO-DIMM Memory Speed. You need DDR3L at 1600MHz speed to make it work.

Q: 6. This memory caused my iMac hash mismatch issues, I bought in 2023, what's the warranty information?

A: OWC offers a lifetime warranty with the OWC 16GB DDR4 2400 MHz SO-DIMM Memory Module.

Q: 7. Is this compatible with Dell XPS 9560?

A: The Crucial website says that this DDR4, 2400 MHz SODIMM (260 pin) will work in a Dell XPS 9560.

Q: 8. Would you know what the CAS latency timings (i.e. 9,9,9,24) are for this QNAP DDR4 2133 memory module and confirm that the voltage listed for it is 1.2v? I was going to purchase some third party RAM for my QNAP NAS unit since QNAP RAM is so expensive but I wanted to know these specs first to ensure compatibility.

A: QNAP does not provide specifications on the CAS Latency Timings of the memory module but the QNAP 8GB DDR4 2133 MHz SO-DIMM Memory Module B&H # QN8DR4K2133 is 1.2v.

Q: 9. Is this compatible with the Apple iMac (Retina 5K, 27-inch, 2017) iMac18,3 ?

A: Yes, but was not happy running with the original 2 x 4GB modules still installed. So if you want 32GB then this is a great solution, trying to squeeze the additional 8GB to run 40GB gave us issues.

Q: 10. I want to add this to my Lenovo Flex 5 1570 that I use for Lightroom and Photoshop. Will it boost my speed performance? My current laptop has the i7 processor with the Nvidia Geforce graphics card and 8gb of RAM.

A: Doubling RAM will probably help... IF your system is memory-constrained. While editing a large photo file, right-click the taskbar and select Task Manager. Click More details at the bottom, and click the Memory heading to sort tasks by decreasing memory usage. Most important, note the percentage memory usage at the top of the column. (This applies to Windows 10, but the process is similar with 7, 8, and 8.1.)

After doing the install on my Acer laptop, the new memory module was identified immediately. Improved functionality, but nothing earth shattering. I just feel more secure having some breathing room in terms of available memory.

The memory chip was a winner. It made my laptop run like new again. B& H delivered it promptly.

Apple makes wonderful computers, but charges an arm and a leg for upgrading the RAM. Order your iMac through B&H to save the tax with minimum RAM and buy the 16GB (2 x 8GB) or 32GB (2x 16GB) memory kit to give you a total of 24 or 40GB. From my days of building windows computers, when I got the 2x16GB kit, I elected to remove the 2x4GB memory boards and put the new 2x16GB in their place. Then I put the original 2x4GB boards in the remaining 2 slots. See the accompanying photo of the boards installed. My rationale for this was that the motherboard was very likely designed to access 2 boards at a time in an 'interleaved' fashion, so you need to put equal memory in each one of the paired slots. I used the largest memory in the first pair of interleaved slots, as there is a small slow-down when a program memory needs crosses the pair boundary. In this case, I made that pair boundary as high as I could at 32GB by putting the largest memory cards in the first paired slots. Usually 32GB will hold all of my needs and nothing will have to cross the pair boundary'

Upgrading to 5 stars. Turns out the problem is that Apple shipped my computer with memory modules that run at 2133 instead of 2400 even though they are labelled 2400. So they won't work with actual 2400 speed memory. If you have the problem that the iMac won't start with added memory, google the micron part number and check the specs. Don't believe the pc2400 printed on the chip! The Crucial tech support people figured this out and they were SUPER
