A: This would work with the Newest iPad mini *(3rd gen) This would work with all tablets 3 -9 . The lightweight mount features cushioned top and bottom grips like slide and tighten to lock your iPad into position. This, and the Makayama option are the only ones I would really suggest.

Q: 4. will this accommodate a 3/4" wide case?

A: Tablet mounts adapter are not recommend to be used with cases, but this mount does support tablets with a 3 to 9" wide dimension. If a tablet with a case still fits these dimensions, it should be compatible.

A: Unfortunately Glide Gear has not specified the weight capacity. The rod is made of metal. Glide Gear Multi-Pod will hold the iPhone, but won't hold a gimbal unfortunately.

A: The Glide Gear POV100 Helmet will not have extensions arms and Glide Gear currently do not make extensions for this rig.

A: The measurements overlap, as the S/M size range is 21.3-23.6" and the L/XL is 22-24.4". I recommend measuring the circumference of your head, by wrapping a string around your forehead and then measure the length of the string.
