Bought this 3-D Printer and had it setup in less than 20 minutes. Printed my first item that day. Amazed at how simple the process was and the online applications that go with the Dremel product. So happy I purchased this Dremel 3D45. Highest recommendations...

This printer just works! Loaded up over 20 prints all perfect. Online tools work great and the software is easy to use. With the RF chips the the prints come out perfect every time. Ordered 4 more spools of eco-abs and some white to boot. Most everything I have printed has a use. Enjoy using it.

I love my Dremel 3D45. Building out of the box within about 10 minutes. Flexible firm and software. Excellent user interface. So easy to use and great results. Don't hesitate.

This Dremel unit has met and surpassed all of the other printers I own. From speed to accuracy and simplicity of use, this is by far! my favorite unit. I do many comparative tests as head-to-heads as well as detail, accuracy, ease of use, etc. In all comparisons against the following, this one wins, HANDS DOWN!! (in order of preference):
1. (With a bullet) Dremel 3D45
2. (Close second, although the build plate would be better as a heated bed) Makerbot Replicator + (with both the Smart Extruder + and the Experimental Exturder)
3. (Solid performance, although the multi-head approach is a little bit of a pain. Not a deal breaker, but not ideal) Afinia H+1
4. (Good Print, but very slow by comparison) XYZ DaVinci
5. (NOT RECOMMENDED) FlashForge Inventor.

The 3D40 Flex 3D print is my first 3D printer. It was easy to set up and bed leveling was extremely easy even for a beginner. It can be connected to the computer with WIFI, USB, or Ethernet. The flexible table makes part removal easy. I've used this printer more than I thought I would before I purchased it. I've been able to create things easily using free software. Dremel provides free slicing software, but I did opt to purchase Simply 3D, which has built-in defaults for my printer. My daughter now calls me a Craft Geek.

I did a ton of research over the past few months and found that the Dremel 3D45 to be at the top of the list for just about every model within this price point. I ended pulling the trigger, praying that the setup wouldn't be all the difficult or tiresome.


To my surprise, this printer is ready to roll right out of the box. Within about two hours, I had my first print (frog) completed and 30 minutes after that print, sent over a project I've been working on in Tinkercad. This is my first time using a 3D printer and I'm so happy with this purchase!



I read reviews about how loud it might be, but I was pleasently surprised. My son took his afternoon nap the next room over and I could barely hear the printer working while in his room. The camera is a really neat feature and I look forward to loading the site on my mobile phone.

I'm glad that the stand-alone printer was out of stock. For a little more money, I got what I wanted, when I needed it, and I'm set with the basic supplies to go to work. If you've got supplies already, wait for this to restock. If you're going to order inventory anyway, this is a really good starting package. B&H delivery is outstanding, the packaging was bombproof, and I'm a happy camper. Thanks.

I am ordering some more spools of eco-abs and some more petg. The printer has been going since I got it 2 days ago and it has printed everything perfectly. Dremel vent, Luxury lite cot foot, pinewood derby car 10 hours and now a parts box. All perfect. The setup is just like it is on all the videos and no surprises as it all works great. The online dremel program is very easy to use. They got this printer right!
