Aluminum-built for strength and featuring a tool-less assembly design, this kit comes with two AutoStepper poles and a remote system that allows you to raise or lower the poles without having to go up on stage when there's a change in speaker. The remote allows you to raise or lower the poles at a speed of 3" per second in fifteen 1.6" increments. Q: 4. Can it also be used as freestanding like other teleprompter units? This setup is for mounting to a tripod. The only difference between this and the freestanding being the included stand. Is that correct?

A: All our Proline Plus models can convert to a FreeSTand unit, and we have kits online to do that.

Q: 5. How heavy is this teleprompter ?

A: I use it with my FS7 on a 100mm Sachtler. I wouldn't suggest a lighter duty tripod. The mounting system is kinda sketch already and as a jib owner, I think it would take some serious ingenuity for me to mount it safely on a jib. The software is none downloadable and lives on a flash drive.

Q: 6. Assuming this come with prompting software, can you use them with any software without issues?

A: The monitor is self-reversing and can display prompting with either the included PC and Mac software or with any presentation software such as PowerPoint or Keynote.

A: Hi Cecilia,I'm not aware of a 14 x 14 option for the beamsplitters. However, since the monitor is a 17 unit, everything on screen does fit nicely on the glass. You'd only need to increase the beamsplitter if you used screens that were not 4:3 or if you moved up to something larger than the 17 screen. To put it another way: the two inches gained would be on the width and you'll not gain anything in the re-flection. The key to maximum readability is to increase the size of the fonts in the software to make it readable to the speaker. Meanwhile the display size in that 4:3 reflection is only changed by increasing the size of the monitor. The later is far less important unless you'll have these out way out in front of the speaker. That's not generally the case. Hope this helps!
