The BPL48V75ART2U Extended Battery Module from CyberPower will extend the battery life of the PR3000LCDRTXL2U, PR5000LCDRTXL5U, and PR6000LCDRTXL5U Smart App Online UPS systems during power outages. This battery module features a hot-swappable and user-replaceable battery pack consisting of twelve 12V/9Ah sealed lead-acid cells with a typical recharge time of 8 hours. Although it has a 2 RU form factor, this module can also be installed in a tower configuration.

Please note that the BPL48V75ART2U is compatible with the PR3000LCDRTXL2U standard with a blue and white LCD. The current PR3000LCDRTXL2U, standard with a black and white LCD, uses the BP48V75ART2U battery pack.

I'm successfully using this external battery with both a Bescor MP-101 and a CamRanger MP-360 motorized pan/tilt head (they essentially share the same hardware with modifications). While intended for use with Bescor lighting rigs, my initial concern regarding the 90-645's voltage/amperage compatibility with motorized heads has proven unnecessary. Happily, this battery pack powers the heads with or without AA batteries installed -- a real blessing when out in the field. The metal clip on the nylon case lets me use a simple strap to hang the battery from a tripod leg or by using a carabiner. B&H's price on the Bescor 90-645 makes it an affordable buy so, all-in-all, this is a great option for extending the use of a motorized pan/tilt head without breaking the bank in AA batteries! I can highly recommend this item. 5

The original batteries in my Cyberpower 1500PFCLCD lasted almost 8 years. This OEM replacement arrived fully charged and was easy to install. In the past I've gotten separate batteries from various places for less money and assembled them into a cartridge using the necessary parts from the old one. It's just not worth doing. The batteries are often substandard, sometimes arrive dead and will not charge, and even when they are OK they last only a couple of years. This is the zero hassle long term solution. 5

Was way overdue for a replacement when my UPS system test initially only lasted for 30 seconds, failing, then not hold a charge right after so any surge will instantly shut off system. It was great that the UPS showed battery at nearly full charge so I could use it immediately. paperwork recommended to charge for at least an hour for best performance but was for a personal machine so I wanted to use it right after I have seen it turned on and passed its self-test. Greats product! 5

This battery fits exactly into my UPS and works great. There are evidently two different batteries for my model Cyberpower UPS and you have to check, before purchasing, to make sure you get the right one. 5

I have traditionally purchased APC UPSs, however they have gotten expensive since they are acquired. So I thought to try this well rated company and all I can say is the quality is just as good, the functionality is superior and the documentation is outstanding compared to APC. In the included user guide are the instructions for replacing the battery! 5

B-H sent right away and I received in two days. The package was open on the top, so the delivery person placed it up side down on my porch. That said, it was in perfect condition so I am ok with it. The BL2450U is super! Many items can be plugged into it. After fully charging it, I unplugged it and it kept the monitor aglow, computer on. No concerns. 5

This is one of 6 units I've purchased from B&H when they run them on sale at a reduced price. Very good unit for my work stations and they seem to last without any issues whatsoever. Recently picked up another for future needs but already have 5 units in use and pleased with the value and reliability. Plenty of backup capabilities for most work stations including those with file servers and large multi-screen layouts. 5

This will help you when you are in remote locations. It's a bit heavy and you may have to figure out how to hold it down when on a tall tripod. 5
