Create panoramas or VR images with the Sunwayfoto 360° VR Panoramic Tripod Head Kit, which includes the DDP-64SI rotator and the DDY-64I Arca-type clamp. The head rotates 360° with four detent intervals of 8, 12, 15, and 18° to choose from. The clamp allows you to mount the rest of the kit, which is the horizontal and vertical rail with swinging horizontal arm and camera mount. The vertical rail can rotate 180°, for Nadir photography, and the rotating horizontal arm has four detent intervals of 5, 15, 30, and 45° of incremental swing. Both the horizontal rail and swing arm are adjustable to find the Nodal point on each axis, and the 10.5" tall head has a load capacity of 17.6 lb.

I shoot night sky images - complicated panos on a tracker. Getting the best leveler and way head has been a game changer. I have tried a lot of setups. Now I am putting the tracker on the leveler, a V plate on the tracker and this exquisite head on the V plate. The V plate is the weak link. But all it has to do is stay flat - I tighten it down like no tomorrow. The Acratech does all the heavy lifting. I can see the degrees! The movement is smooth! And the screw tighteners are just perfect. The leveler is also very nice. It does have a tiny bit of play with my heavy tracker kit so I need to make sure I have a good deal of settling before shooting a 3 minute exposure. But I can SEE the bubble and the screw doesn't move the level when I clamp it down (hear that Leophoto?). Worth the $ 5

After see Tim Shields (Canadian Landscape Photographer) use this Head for his work I got one and wow what a difference especially with the leveling base kit. I will never be using my ball head again. 5

I have this combo on my heavy Manfrotto 475B and love it. When I bought the Sirui W-2204 for hiking and in the water I tried the Sirui LE-60 leveling base and Sunwayfoto DT-02D50. The LE-60 ways way too stiff and the DT-02D50. Neither would fully lock down the camera and Canon EF 24-105 much less the EF 100-400L. Forget about carrying the tripod over your shoulder with the camera attached. So I bought a second set for my Surui tripod. The design has changed since my first purchase but that has not compromised the product. It is a bit more skeletonized. This combo does exactly what it is supposed to and does it well. 5

Been using it a few months. Great for Marco, Pano, Landscape and time lapse. I tend to get confused with all the different knobs. Just takes a little getting used to. Not easy levelling the bubble especially when mounted to a taller tripod and the bubble level is above eye level. 5
