The black Pelican 1660NF Case Without Foam is an unbreakable, watertight, airtight, dustproof, chemical resistant and corrosion proof hard case that can be used to carry any kind of equipment that needs to be protected from the elements. It is made of Ultra High Impact structural copolymer that makes it strong and durable. It has a 0.25" (6.4 mm) neoprene O-ring, ABS latches that seal perfectly and an automatic purge valve for quick equalization after changes in atmospheric pressure.

The 1660NF comes with large two-person side haul handles, a fold down top handle, a retractable extension handle and our strong, built-in polyurethane wheels with stainless steel bearings. It has an effortless release latch for the extension handle. The padlock protectors provide added strength and extra security against cutting and theft.

A: The case is too small for the Canon body and that lens. You need to provide more space between the items to fully protect them. The foam is strong, but those items are heavy.

A: Yes but what I do is go the the Pelican Store on line and order the solid foam sheets and cut them to fit the equipment and then glue the foam together for me FS7 camera's and others.

Q: 9. Does anyone else's extendable handle seem loose? Wasn't sure if this was an intentional design aspect or if mine is loose when it shouldn't be. I just bought the 1620 and the extendable handle was like this when I received it. Love the case overall, just wasn't sure about the extendable handle.
