The Linhof 50mm Quick Release Plate is an Arca-type compatible dovetail plate with a 1/4"-20 threaded camera mount. The plate also works with the Linhof 3D Leveling Head II and the 3D Micro Leveling head.

A: Most arca type quick release systems should work with our tripod plates, so please let us know if this was a successful coupling for you!

Q: 3. Is BR 50 Plate compatible with the Benro 1B1 arca-type ball head?

A: Unfortunately we cannot 100% confirm that it'll work, but agree with everyone above that it shouldn't be an issue given that our plates are arca swiss compatible overall.

Q: 4. Will this fit the Komodo K7 Head? Can you get an extra Komodo K7 plate?

A: The Komodo K7 uses a Quick Release Plate that is unique to their tripod system. At this time we do not carry a spare or replacement.

Q: 5. Compatible with RRS BH-55 ballhead and/or RRS Monopod Head? MH-01

A: Yes. The RRS BH-55 ballhead accepts optional arca-Type third party plates.

Q: 6. I have a MeFoto Globetrotter with 60mm plate. Would the 70mm plate or the 50mm plate work better? I assume the short one would fit but not take advantage of the extra width - where the 70mm might give extra grip on the camera that would extend beyond the plate mount.

A: Thank you for your inquiry. We would recommend 50mm for cameras and 70mm for video cameras or tele lenses. We hope this has been helpful.

Q: 9. I have a glidecam hd2000, how do I install the adapter to the glidecam plate? Are there certain screws that I have to buy? The one screw it comes with is to large for the holes in the glidecam plate

A: I would opt for using the screws that come with the Glidecam. This product will have compatible mounting holes on the bottom to attach.

Q: 10. I have a Induro BHD0 Ballhead. Which size plate works for it? the 50 or the 70?

A: I agree that they both will work and one is just longer than the other. If you are using a big lens where the lens will mount on the ballhead instead of the camera then get the longer one.

Purchased a Black Rapid strap and wanted a more durable tripod plate than the Oben that came with my tripod. Usedit for a week then bought 3 more for other lenses. No worries about dropping the camera and lenses and fits perfectly on the tripod. 5

It's a great plate that lets me easily slip on and off the tripod and go right onto the Blackrapid harness. It's great product I'd gladly buy again (and may need to soon for my second camera). 5

The new folding, concealable strap fastener hides out of the way under the tripod plate! Take the camera off the tripod and the strap fastener ring pivots down from under the Tripod Plate and is instantly ready to accept the wrist or shoulder strap fastener clip. This is so much more secure and quick than removing the tripod plate from the camera and screwing in the strap fastener all while balancing the non-secured camera and lens. Of course, it is just as quick and secure when removing the camera from the strap and mounting it on the tripod. Eliminates the stress of worrying about possibly dropping the camera and lens in the change over process. 5

I was looking for something to replace the plate that comes with my mefoto tripod that has a ring to use my black rapid straps and this was a perfect fit. Now I don't need to keep unscrewing/screwing this plate is I have to use tripod or not. The only complaint I have is that the ring is so hard to hold to stay up to place the hook on my straps because its so loose compare to the manfrotto ones that the ring stays up and you can easily hook your straps in. 5

This is my 3rd one of various sizes. I bought the longer one for macro. They work well on my gimbal head. They have stops so they don't slide off. The ring is solid enough I use it with my back rapid strep for hiking. 5

great product and makes going from Black Rapid strap to Arca type head east had been using a peak design plate previous to this but collapsible dring on peak design was too small and it was a hastle getting strap connected. Actually I have not been happy with Peak Design products, It is a hastle getting the camera into their clip and I stopped using their clip 5

This unit lets me fit the camera on my tripod (which I rarely do) but also lets me attach my aftermarket strap to both of my cameras. 5
