A: According to the manufacturer you can use 6d or 8d nails, or drywall screws. They do not have a measurement for the spacing.
Q: 6. can it be ceiling mounted?
A: As long as you have adequate support from above yes. I would look to anchor all four of the bolt holes into something very solid like a floor joist from the floor above. Be careful about finding a mounting surface that will provide adequate width so that you anchor all 4 corners using the provided holes. I would not bolt this to a drywall ceiling and attach anything weighing more than a few pounds to it. If you bolt this to the ceiling then you should also consider what you are going to attach to the pin and ensure that you can grip that pin firmly enough that it can hang upside-down with all of the weight trying to pull away form the pin.
Q: 7. Can this also be used as a junior pin?
A: Remove the screw and it should fit a junior receiver.
Q: 8. What's the difference between this and the identically named SRP-115?
A: This plate is the same as the SRP-115 produced by Impact.
Q: 9. Can the handle be removed?
A: Yes the handle can be unscrewed.
Q: 10. Is the plate magnetic? Could the Aputure MC stick to it?
A: The Impact Wall Plate with 3" Baby Swivel Pin is comprised of steel so the Aputure MC can stick to the back of it.
