The beige DPA 6061 CORE is a subminiature, moisture-resistant lavalier microphone designed for use with wireless systems for broadcast, performance, and theatrical applications. The low-sensitivity electret-condenser capsule can handle even very loud performers to deliver crisp, clear, and intelligible speech. The mic's 3mm size is easy to hide in clothing or costumes, making it well suited to the demands of professional presentations, theater, and live stage work as well as TV, film, and video productions.
The 6061 shrinks DPA's CORE technology down to a 60% smaller size that still delivers extended dynamic range and extremely low self noise for outstanding sound quality. An included capsule protection grid protects the mic element and supplies a subtle 4 dB soft boost between 8 to 20 kHz, lightly enhancing signal presence to ensure clarity. The cap can be removed for cleaning and attaches to the mic with a firm click that can be felt and heard.
With an SPL rating of 144 dB, the microphone is more than capable of handling even very loud vocalists, presenters, and speakers. The 6061 CORE is powered by 5 to 10V plug-in power from a wireless transmitter and features a modular design using a Microdot output connector. This version includes a 3-pin LEMO adapter compatible with Lectrosonics SSM, Sennheiser SK, and Wisycom MTP transmitters.

Related Questions and Answers
Q: 1. Is this mic I can use it with transmitter G4 ,like mke2 gold and any lavalier?
A: No, this version with an XLR connector will not work with a G4 transmitter. You will need the Sennheiser MKE 2 Gold Series Subminiature Omnidirectional Lavalier Microphone with Locking 3.5mm Connector (BH #SEMKE2EWG).
Q: 2. Do you know of any adapters that go from the sennheiser 3.5mm plug to a 4-pin xlr for the sennheiser hsp2 headset mic? Trying to get the headset mic to work with a shure pack.
A: Unfortunately there are no adapters available that allow for the Sennheiser 3.5 connector to be used with a Shure transmitter.
Q: 3. What type of 3.5mm adapter is recommended to connect this mic to rode wireless go transmitter?
A: The MKE 2 Gold Series Subminiature Omnidirectional Lavalier Mic is not compatible directly with the Wireless Go II transmitter, and would need a minimum of 12V phantom power via an external source in order to work. While this is possible, It would be much simpler and overall, cheaper, to just opt for a mic that is powered by the 3-5V Plug-in power supplied by the Wireless Go II transmitter.
Q: 4. What adapter do I need to connect to a Zoom H4n?
A: Hi Gabriel,I think you need to be much more specific. So you want to connect something to an H4N - but what exactly do you want to connect to it?Howard
Q: 5. Does this kit include the hotshoe mount adapter to mount the receiver to the hotshoe of the camera?
A: No it doesn’t. The receiver on this particular kit is with the XLR male which is meant to be plugged into an XLR source such as mixing boards or even cameras with an XLR input. Since it’s plugged into the XLR, a separate mounting isn’t needed not possible. There are various other camera kits with a mini output which do come with shoe mount adapters.
Q: 6. Will these work with any lav mic?
A: The ZH102 was designed for use with Sennheiser's ME 2 and MKE 2 mics, but it can be used with other mics that are a similar size.
Q: 7. Hi. Is this compatible with the Sennheiser XSW-52 system? Thinking of plugging this in to the SK 20 bodypack transmitter

Q: 8. Is this compatible with Sennheiser AVX systems?
A: Yes
Q: 9. I want to use a couple of Lectrosonics M-150 lavs as hard-wired backups to my normal gear. The stated compatible models are: Lectrosonics HM, UH400 and UH400a. M-150 uses a 5 pin female TA5 so will it also work with this adapter?
A: The MCA5X will work with all Lectrosonics mics wired with a 5 pin female (TA5) connector, however it is designed for use with their Plug On transmitters only. It will NOT work when connected to a microphone input on a mixer or a recorder.
Q: 10. According to Sennheiser, this mic should work with iphone core audio. Which means any recording app that is capable of switching its input should work. No?
