The JUNO-DS76 Synthesizer from Roland is a keyboard instrument with over 1000-plus sounds, the ability to run on batteries, and a built-in song player that enables you to trigger backing tracks right from the keyboard. It can be used in various environments for applications such as live stage, theater, recording studios, rehearsals, schools, and more.

The keyboard is lightweight and can run on 8 AA batteries, allowing you to play music anytime and anywhere you please. A microphone input allows you to easily incorporate vocals into your work with a dedicated reverb knob to give the vocals a professional flavor. The JUNO-DS's instant-access design makes it simple to call up acoustic pianos, electric pianos, and organs and the DS Tone Bank includes the entire 1000-plus sound set from the previous-generation JUNO-DI and is compatible with the Juno-DS.

In addition, to complement the onboard sound set the JUNO-DS keyboard supports internal waveform expansion via USB and over 1000 EXP sounds are available for free download at Roland's Axial website including top-quality acoustic piano collections, world instruments, go-to-studio standards, and more.

Finally, if you like to dig in and customize your sounds, the JUNO-DS now offers more adjustable parameters than before, allowing you to tweak patches and performances with detailed precision. The front panel provides an expanded array of hands-on knobs and sliders while the rear panel features jacks for connecting hold and expression pedals at the same time.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Can this be connected to the MIC IN of a video camera to record the tweaked audio (with video)?

A: You could use a line-to-mic attenuator cable to take the output from the headphone jack on the Roland AIRA Compact E-4 Voice Tweaker and connect it to the mic input on the camera. You can use the Kopul ACH4-25MON Line-to-Mic Attenuator Cable (B&H # KOACH425MON), which has a built-in headphone tap to monitor the audio. To extend the length, you can use a standard aux cable like the Hosa Technology Stereo Mini Male to Stereo Mini Male Cable - 10' (B&H # HOSMMSMM10) in any length you prefer.

Q: 2. Do they make these for left handed players

A: This does not come in a left handed model.

Q: 3. I can't find anything about the preamp, even on Roland's site. Is there any info about the gain? Take the typical worst case of an SM7B - would I have to use a CloudLifter or similar product?

A: The Roland Web Presentation Dock BH #ROUVC02 • MFR #UVC-02  features a studio -grade microphone preamp with plenty of gain available. No Cloudlifters or similar devices would be necessary for use with microphones like the Shure SM7B or EV RE20.

Q: 4. What type of adapter do I need to connect my Ipad and the Aerocaster plus a powerback ?

A: All you need to connect an IPAD is at least IOS 14 and the app, on the Roland AeroCaster Livestreaming System.

Q: 5. Is the cassette tape/recorder microphone included in the BULLFROG Synth? If not where can it be purchased?

A: The Erica Synths x Richie Hawtin Bullfrog Synthesizer does have a built-in microphone and it features a sampler-looper effect that emulates the functionality of a tape recorder, recording up to 10" of audio from the built-in microphone or from the Bullfrog itself, and then feeds it back into the audio path of the Bullfrog for processing via the VCF, VCA, and Delay.

Q: 6. Can Aerocaster link to cameras that have wifi capability? Not just phone cameras but others?

A: The Roland AeroCaster Livestreaming System connects directly to up to 4 connected Android or iPhones wirelessly via the AeroCaster app.

Q: 7. Is there a limit to the number of selected sound effects this device will accommodate?

A: There is no effective limit to the amount of effects files you may save for the Roland Web Presentation Dock BH #ROUVC02. These .WAV files may be saved to your PC. Backup file (.uvc02). Configure the settings (UVC-02 Setup Tool). Please see the manual for details: https://www.bhphotovideo.com/lit_files/901201.pdf

Q: 8. Is there any program out? Connecting program out to external monitor/tv?

A: The, Roland AeroCaster Livestreaming System does not offer HDMI output. The IPad that you use to control the switcher is your preview display and controller for the switcher.

Q: 9. Can I load my own soundfonts into this ?

A: You can not load your own sound samples into this item. You can use this device as a MIDI controller if you want to control sounds from a DAW or external module. As well, you can edit the internal sounds via Roland's Ax-Edge Editor app.

Q: 10. How do you record your live stream? Is there a process since the app doesn't record? How can you make something that plays video and audio and does not record?
