A: You can use IDX V mount batteries as well as other manufacture V mount batteries.

A: The Westcott version measures 15" x 15" to accommodate the wider opening of the Flex softbox. If those dimensions match and the Chimera has loop fabric(soft side) of the hook and loop/velcro style attachment fabric at the front of the box. Then the grid should work as designed.

Q: 3. It says in the description that it is a full stop but the review says 1/4 stop diffusion. Which is it?

A: Westcott lists that the Westcott Flex Cine Softbox 1 x 1' comes with a one stop front diffuser.

Q: 4. I have two Flex light Cine Kits... One 1x1 and one 1x2. I have two D-Tap connectors (one for each). NEITHER cable works on either light. There's power to the 1x2 control unit, but will not light the light. There's no power to the 1x1 control unit. Ideas?? Thank you!

A: For color temperature of LEDs you would need the Sekonic C-700R Spectromaster or a spectrometer specifically designed to accurately read LED light. Other versions and older color meters simply are not designed to accurately measure the light output of LEDs. In addition, While the actual readout from a Flex LED may be different than the what your brand and model of camera records as a specific temperature, once set, your Flex will maintain the same color temperature each time you set it with the same readout. Your output range may be related to the D-tap question where you appear to be attempting to use powering options and connectors not specifically designed for use with your Flex.
