  • 10x magnification brings distant subjects in close for detailed observations
  • Large 50mm objectives produce bright and clear views even in challenging light conditions, while helping to deliver a wide exit pupil for improved viewing comfort
  • Porro prism design produces a rich depth of field and more lifelike 3D views
  • BAK4 prisms produce crisp and sharp views with a round exit pupil
  • Anti-reflection multi-coated optics maximize light transmission to improve image brightness, color rendition, and contrast
  • Wide 65° apparent angle of view ensures the entire playing field stays in view so you don't have to move your head around to catch the action, while limiting the appearance of distracting hand shake that is common when holding high-power optics
  • 341-foot field of view at 1000 yards

  • Focus-free PermaFocus system
  • Wide 56 to 73mm interpupillary adjustment range makes binoculars easy to use by a wide variety of people, including children and teens
  • Twist-up rubber eyecups for comfortable use with or without eyewear
  • 15mm eye relief
  • Comfortable 5mm exit pupil will completely cover most pupils as they open and dilate in low light to keep the entire scene in view without vignetting

PermaFocus system:

  • Optimized for distances of 150 feet (46m) or greater
  • Relies on the user's eyes to achieve focus instead of a mechanism to keep the view constantly sharp
  • Eliminates the need to fumble with diopter rings or focusing knobs
  • Makes sharing the binoculars easier than with manually focused optics

  • Interchangeable red, white, blue, and black accent tiles allow you to customize the look of the binoculars to your preference or to match your team's colors
  • Porro prism design produces an ergonomic chassis shape that sits comfortably and balanced in the hand
  • Lightweight and durable aluminum chassis
  • Slip-resistant armored exterior with textured palm pads adds grip security
  • IPX4-rated, water resistant against splashing water and light rain
  • Tripod mountable for hands-free use to eliminate hand shake and arm fatigue during long observation sessions

Q: 3. What is the eyepiece diameter for this particular binocular?

A: The eyepiece exit pupil diameter of the Bushnell 10x50 PowerView 2 Binoculars (BH # BU10X50PV2) is 5mm. The eye relief diameter is 16mm.

Q: 4. Are these binoculars good for sky watching, or should I get a different brand?

A: Yes these will work very good for Celestial use. You can also do the Nikon 7x50 Aculon A211 Binocular. These would be a brighter choice due to the lower magnification. Link: http://bhpho.to/1O7uUCg

Q: 5. does the binocular comes with straps and case?

A: Yes In the Box: Nikon 10x50 Aculon A211 Binoculars Carrying Case Neck Strap 1-Piece Ocular Rainguard 2 x Objective Lens Caps Limited Lifetime Warranty

Q: 6. If you look at a horizon or anything with a strait line across the view does it bow the line above & below the center line of the view?

A: No it should not.

Q: 7. Is this recommended for birding / bird watching .. how will it perform during low light

A: The classic birding binocular is 42mm, so a 50mm will resolve better in low light.

Q: 8. What is the range of interpupilary distances for these binocs?

A: Unfortunately the Manufacturer doesn't provide that specification. My sincere apologies.

Q: 9. Does this come with case?

A: No it does not include a case.

Q: 10. Can these binoculars be mounted on a tripod?

A: They can't be mounted on a tripod using the Nikon mount that screws into the end of some Nikon models. I found that out the hard way. I actually bought the monarch mount with the binoculars (pictured) and then realized the end didn't screw off of the hinge...There are other universal strap mounts I have pictured and those will probably do..

Bought this primarily for planespotting, since I live close to a major airport. Images are sharper than I could possibly expect at this price point, no matter the time of day I use it. Good specs, even better performance. The only thing I did not like that much are the lens covers, because they fall off very easily, but that is really a minor problem. Difficult to beat this great deal. On top of all this, B&H staff are knowledgeable and will go the extra mile to get you what suits your needs.
