The green X-GO Gecko Aluminum Tripod Kit with FPH-42Q Ball Head from Fotopro is a 5-section aluminum support that has a twist lock leg system that allows, along with the rapid center column, for a maximum height of 56.8". Collapsing both legs and center column enable the tripod to have a minimum height of 13.4". The tripod's ball head has two separate knobs, one that controls the movement of the ball, which can be positioned at a 90° angle, and a second knob controls the 360° pan. A bubble level is included to help you maintain a level horizon, and one of the legs is removable, enabling it to convert into a monopod. This allows you to have a camera support when a tripod cannot enter certain areas. Additionally, the legs fold in the reverse making it compact for storage and transport.

These are the best tripods I have ever owned. They are super light (around 3 lbs) and did not move when I had my Nikon FX with a 24-70 mm lens with the speed light. I even tried putting additional pressure to see if the camera moved. Stayed perfectly balanced in portrait mode (tilted 90 degrees). Very versatile and comes with counter weight holder in case needed for artistic angles. Carrying bag is a big plus and folds down to just under 2 feet. I’ve used it in windy conditions and in uneven terrain. They don’t move. Worth the money and I can’t wait to travel with them! 5

I bought this as my lighter option in comparison to my older Manfrotto 055 Mag Fiber one. I am reasonably impressed with the weight and quality. I have not used the ball head long enough to compare it against my older Manfrotto head ball 488. Though, my initial impression is very positive. 5

This is the new iteration of their travel tripod Ive had for a few years and Im a big fan. Lightweight but sturdy, easy to set up, and you can feel the quality when youre holding it. Great bang for the buck. Its my go-to travel and backcountry tripod. 5

Its just light enough to carry with me all the time without sacrificing a rock solid platform for slow shutter speeds and time exposures.
