Each Shock Module consists of three cables that provide a certain level of tension to remove vibration from your rig. The color denotes the level of tension: blue denotes a light level, red denotes medium, and black denotes heavy. The light module is best-suited for DSLR or smaller cine cameras. The heavier and bulkier the rig, the more tension is required.

A: The Manfrotto 509HD is a really nice video head, however its load capacity is only 29 pounds. This crane weighs 30 pounds before you even put a camera on it. Also the load capacity of a tripod head diminishes the further away the load gets from the center. Which is why we recommend the Hercules 2.0 Head when using this crane. It has the load capacity to handle the crane and most cameras you would put on it.
