The 6 RU Soundcraft Vi Dante Card for Vi Stagebox (6 RU) is an optional card that serves as a 64x64 I/O Dante interface for a Vi Stagebox. It enables the Vi Stagebox to send and receive 64 channels from a Dante network.

The card also allows 64 channels of audio to be connected directly to a Mac/Windows computer for recording or processing, by using a standard Ethernet connection (requires Dante Virtual Soundcard software to be installed on the computer—one licence token supplied with each card).

Routing and setup of the network is done using an external computer running Dante Controller software (free download available from the Audinate website). A BNC sync output connector on the card allows the console's word clock input to be driven by the network clock—if required by the clocking setup.

Note that this card is an I/O card only and does not allow you to connect a Vi Stagebox to a Vi console using Dante instead of MADI.
