A: Just got off the phone with DJI. Guy on the line successfully attached the same handlebars to both the Ronin M and MX. He also said they are identical. So I'd say yes, it'll work. Placing my order today. Will do my best to come back and tell u how it went!

Q: 6. I see the GPS module is compatible with the Ronin 4D. When used together, will it write GPS metadata into the 4D video files?

A: DJI does not mention that you will be able to receive metadata. DJI says it allows you use the DJI Ronin 4D with the Ronin-S External GPS Module, it can enhance the stabilization performance of the gimbal roll axis during rapid acceleration.

Q: 7. What are the hole sizes in the Cinemilled armpost adapter plate? I'm wondering if using a male to male 1/4 or 3/8 thread adapter, I could attach a Ronin-S to this plate (i.e., not attach the armpost adapter to a gimbal handle bar but just to the bottom of the Ronin-S).

A: We are not aware of a way for this product to be used with the Ronin-S. One portion connect to a 1/2" post from a Steadicam system, while the other connects to a 30mm Top Bar on the original Ronin.

Q: 8. Just wondering if there are any products similar to this? Allowing to mount a ronin 1 dovetail on top and a tripod baseplate on the bottom.

Q: 9. If I use these on the Ronin MX with a Canon C300 mki will I be able to use briefcase and overslung mode normally?

A: I use the C100 mkii with these extentions in the ronin mx and the dimensions of the camera won't let you turn the ronin from normal mode to overslung without turning the ronin off. It' not the best camera size for the ronin.

A: Unfortunately, th DJI Ronin-S External GPS Module is only compatible with the DJI Ronin S as the connection type is a 4 pin connector specific to the Ronin S.
