Musical Sampling Adventure Strings is a Kontakt-powered virtual instrument with a library that captures short string articulations sourced from performance phrases played by medium-sized string sections. It provides composers, arrangers, and producers with the authentic shapes, articulations, and momentum of repeated phrases captured with musical-context relevance and organized in a collection of 33 patches. The library features molto expressivo vibratos and triple-forte dynamics, and is well-suited for quickly creating credible arrangements with energetic string lines and adventurous passages, ideal for television, film, or game-scoring projects.

Adventure Strings offers medium-sized sections of violins, violas, cellos, and basses recorded at 24-bit / 48 kHz audio resolution on a scoring stage with a traditional seating arrangement. It includes individual pizzicato, marcato, stacc-spiccatos, tremolo, and sustain patches for every individual string section, as well as for Full Strings patches.

The library uses Morph Stacking programming techniques that allow playing any note length while still sounding natural. Patches come with switchable, crossfade/velocity controls to help shape your dynamics, including two attack variations for the Adventure patches and a To Silence function that uses the Mod wheel to fade sound to silence.

Adventure Strings requires a full version of Kontakt 5.5.1 or later (available separately) and can be used as a plug-in or standalone on Mac and Windows computers.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Can the rubber foot of the Benro MAD38A monopod be unscrewed off the foot, then the monopod be attached to the Benro VT2 (3-feet locking base)?

A: I have read on the 3-foot base page that people have used it with the MAD 38A - so I'm confused! There is a tool included that fits the nut holding the included foot on, but I cannot turn it myself to see what the results are. So, there is conflicting information out there (here).

Q: 2. Does this come with the head in the picture or do I need to buy a separate head?

A: A tripod head is not included with the purchase of the Benro TAD27A Series 2 Adventure Aluminum Tripod, B&H # BETAD27A. The tripod head, Canon DSLR camera, and Canon lens pictured as options and to display the tripod in usage. If you are looking for a 3-Way Pan Head for use with the tripod, I would recommend either the Benro HD3A 3-Way Panhead, B&H # BEHD3A, or the Benro HD1A 3-Way Panhead, B&H # BEHD1A, depending on the amount of weight you plan to support and/or your budget.

Q: 3. are the clamps metal or plastic?

A: The levers are plastic but the piece on the leg that does the clamping is die cast magnesium. It might look and feel like plastic but it is not. I have had the legs apart and can confirm this.

Q: 4. Will this tripod fit all Benro ball heads?

A: The Benro TAD28A Series 2 Adventure Aluminum Tripod can be used with any tripod head that has a 3/8-16 mount. Most Benro heads have a 3/8-16 female mount so they all should work.

Q: 5. How thick are the leg sections?

A: LEG DIAMETER 1 28.6 mm LEG DIAMETER 2 25.2 mm LEG DIAMETER 3 21.8 mm

Q: 6. how thick are the legs?

A: LEG DIAMETER 1 28.6 mm LEG DIAMETER 2 25.2 mm LEG DIAMETER 3 21.8 mm

Q: 7. Will the Benro 3 leg locking base #BEVT2 work on this monopod?

A: I can't address the issue of the foot being removable from this particular monopod but I can respond to the usefulness of Benro three footed monopods. First of all to make a blanket statement that three footed monopods are useless is ridiculous. I have a Benro three footed monopod that I use with binoculars and a small spotting Scope and it performs very well. It adds a great deal to the stability of the view through these optics, far better than a conventional monopod. It's not as stabil as a tripod but it does a good job and is lighter in weight, has a smaller foot print and is easier to move about. So, just because it doesn't work for you doesn't mean it can't work for someone else.

Q: 8. Does this tripod have a center column or not? Some of the pictures show a center column.

A: Yes it does

Q: 9. Is the 3/8” stud threaded into a corresponding 3/8 threaded hole in this tripod head? Can it be unscrewed?

A: Yes, the 3/8" stud can b e removed.

Q: 10. Whrre can i get extra screws

A: I personally don't know. I would try contacting the maker of the tripod, or asking B&H to see if they could direct you. This is whatI would have to do. Best answer I can give you. Sorry.
