Produced for modern, over-the-top trailer-scoring projects, Musical Sampling Trailer Strings is a Kontakt-powered virtual instrument that aims to deliver the loudest, biggest-sounding string library. It provides composers, arrangers, and producers with an assortment of short and long articulations performed in a large concert hall by a 60-string ensemble set on delivering maximum volume.

To achieve an exceptionally wide dynamic range, Trailer Strings offers true FFF and ppp samples recorded at 24-bit / 48 kHz using three microphone positions, with the players positioned evenly across the stage. It uses Morph Stacking programming techniques so you can play any note length and still sound natural. The To Silence function enables the Mod wheel to bring the volume of the instrument all the way down to silence.

The library comprises a variety of articulations including spiccato, staccato, marcato, sustain, and cluster effects. It also features Adventure patches intended for loud passages, as well as breakout keyswitch patches, useful for easily auditioning and selecting articulations. For those who like to quantize, Humanization lets you randomize the start-note and end-note positions of any given note that is played.

Trailer Strings requires a full version of Kontakt 5.5.1 or later (available separately) and can be used as a plug-in or standalone on Mac and Windows computers.
