A: You assume correctly, in that you can have a camera wired up to that distance. Hikvision does not specify how many can be set up that way.

A: Yes, All Hikvision sold at B & H is. This is my second NVR since last year. Be sure you plan for TOTAL input BANDWIDTH. While it does support 16 cameras I have eight and used 139Mbps of 160Mbps. So in my case it supports 9 unless I lower the camera settings to less than 16384Kbps.
