Using the 2.4 GHz Godox X wireless radio system, the XProP TTL Wireless Flash Trigger can be used to effectively and reliably trigger flashes from up to 328' away, and when used with compatible flashes and receivers users will have the added benefit of remote power control. This model is compatible with Pentax's TTL system, including support for high-speed sync up to 1/8000 second, and offers advanced control options along with settings for working with system-specific features. For ensuring maximum reliability and control, users can set up 16 groups on one of 32 channels and can then access 99 wireless ID settings for limiting interference from other nearby systems.

In addition to basic manual and TTL control modes, other settings are available, including stroboscopic flash and high-speed sync. Users can adjust flash exposure compensation from -3 to +3 EV as well as wirelessly control the modeling light, zoom setting, and more. For using the XProP with other camera systems there is a 2.5mm sync port that supports triggering via a wired connection. Also, a USB Type-C port is present for firmware updates and the devices run on two AA batteries for convenience.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. does this work with my canon r5 and my EL-1 speedlite?

A: The Godox XProC TTL Wireless Flash Trigger for Canon Cameras is only compatible with Canon EOS R5 Mirrorless Camera. The Godox will not work with the Canon Speedlite EL-1, as they operate on different wireless systems.

Q: 2. Greetings, regarding the Godox XProF TTL Wireless Flash Trigger for Fujifilm Cameras. Is this trigger compatible with the Fujifilm EX-F500 Flash?

A: Short answer: no, not for wireless radio triggering. The Godox units all share a proprietary wireless protocol that is different from those employed by the OEM flashes from Fuji, Canon, Nikon, etc.. This unit is really built to act as a trigger for Godox-manufactured speedlights and strobes. (However, Godox uses the same wireless triggering protocol across all of its lights so, from everything I read, this Fuji trigger should happily work to trigger a Nikon Godox TT685N or a Canon Godox TT350C, etc., with full TTL and HSS.)It does have a sync port that can be used to connect (via a sync cable) to off-camera units but it wouldnt support TTL in that mode, and wouldnt offer any advantage over just using the PC sync port thats available on most of the Fuji X-series bodies.Hope that helps!

Q: 3. Can this Godox XProS trigger Rotolight AEOS II in HSS ? (And if yes; than only with an additional receiver - bypasssing the built-in Elinchrom skyport ?)

A: Not sure. I use it to trigger my Nikon SB700 speedlight along with the x1R receiver.

Q: 4. Will this Godox XproN TTL wireless flash work with Profoto B10 OCF Flash Head ?

A: Profoto B10 flash require the use of a Profoto radio. They do not have sync ports for plugging in alternate radios.

Q: 5. Can I control the flash output from this unit and the X1 receiver to a Nikon sb700? Without having to touch the flash.

A: Yes with a X1 receiver on a SB-700 you can control the power.

Q: 6. Can I mount the XproO on my GH5 Panasonic Lumix and control my Godox TT685N? I already have the strobes and an AD600BM and I dont want to buy new strobes for OCF. Thanks in advance!

A: Yes this transmitter will fire a TT685N, but you would be limited to manual flash control only.

Q: 7. Hi. Pentax K3 II works in HSS with Godox XPro P???

A: Yes this transmitter will allow for HSS on the Pentax K3 II.

Q: 8. I have this transmitter but am switching to a canon camera. Can I use this transmitter with my new canon 80d?

A: Within the Godox/Flashpoint system to preserve TTL capabilities you need the trigger for the camera model (canon trigger for canon camera) but the flashes don't matter. the trigger is what controls the TTL and HSS signal. Keep in mind if you don't want HSS or TTL your trigger will be fine.

Q: 9. Will Godox work with elinchrom strobe and is it compatible with its high speed sync functionality?

A: No, the Godox XProN TTL Wireless Flash Trigger for Nikon Cameras and Godox's X-wireless radio system are not compatible for use with Elinchrom's Skyport wireless radio system. If you already own the Godox XProN and you simply want to trigger the Elinchrom strobe, you may purchase a compatible X-wireless radio receiver such as the Godox X1R-N TTL Wireless Flash Trigger Receiver for Nikon, B&H # GOX1RN, along with a sync cable such as the Vello 3.5mm Remote Shutter Release Cable for Cameras with 2.5mm Sub-Mini Connections, B&H # VERCCC135. However, this will only give you manual wireless triggering capabilities, and would not give you TTL, high-speed sync, or wireless power output control.

Q: 10. Does this flash fire before it's fully recycled? I have an AlienBee that will fire whether or not it's been fully recycled - some photos are darker than others because of this.

A: The transmitter will fire as often as you press the shutter. In order to not shoot faster than your recycle you could turn your the lights beep when ready feature.

A game changer for me, there is a learning curve with these wireless godox xmtr and rcvr setups. I love it, no more running ext cords, etc.Very easy to dial in your light power, highly recommend.

As soon as I attached the Godoy XPro trigger, my gear was ready to go! It was seamless, easy to use and well worth the money!

Godox is improving with each new generation of products. While the strobe's built quality and engineering may not match Profoto, a remote is remote. I just cannot help questioning why Elinchrom (which I also own) and Profoto make a remote trigger at 5 to 8 times the price.

This is my second, the first one starts to tire after long and loyal service in piloting Godox and Canon flashes, even studio flashes. Good flash trigger.
