The Tiffen 3 x 4" 2 Tobacco Soft-Edge Graduated Filter helps to specifically add a warm, brownish-yellow coloration to skies and other bright areas of an image while allowing a portion of the image to remain neutrally colored. The filter's coloring is densest at the edge and tapers to clear by the middle, with a soft-edged transition between the density and clear areas. The 2 color density provides less tobacco coloration than the 3 density, but more than the 1 density filter.

This filter is made using ColorCore technology, a process that involves laminating the filter substrate between 2 pieces of optical glass and grinding flat to a tolerance of 1/10,000th of an inch. It measures 3 x 4" / 76.2 x 101.6mm.

Note: A vertical orientation filter's line of transition runs parallel to the short side of the filter.

Q: 5. Does the RRS L bracket for the rIII fit on the bottom of the battery grip?

A: The RRS base plate for the a9 and a7R3 will not screw into the bottom of the battery grip. I am wondering if it is possible to get a longer screw that will make it work with the grip, but the base plate itself has a ridge to stabilize it on the camera body, and that would leave a separation between the plate and the bottom of the grip. One of the reasons I bought the grip was to use it for star trails so that I can leave the camera shooting overnight until the batteries run out. Obviously I would need to attach the camera plus grip to the tripod, and so far as I can tell, this plate won't do the job.
