This cover is so much easier to install that the one supplied with the lens and comes off in about a half a second when I need to take a quick picture. 5

I use it with a Canon 300mm f2.8 IS. Sample design, but effective. The piece of hard foam inside is sturdier than I thought and offer a good protection for the front element. I would have liked a little velcro strap to secure the hood on the lens but it is important to remove a star 5

A great cover that fits over the lens hood on my 500mm lens. It is much easier to use than the furnished vynle cover. It is soft and stretchable and keeps out dust or other unwanted particles. It fits in my pocket when not in use. 5

This cover will work well on my 200-400 lens where the Nikon-supplied cover is great for storage or travel, but for field use is a little unwieldy. Liked it so much I bought another for a different lens. 5

Big glass takes up big space in your bag/case, and while OEM padded hood/covers offer good protection, they too add to the overall size of the glass you are trying to tote around. Snug and fit, LensCoat Hoodie's offer just the right protection to your glass (pretty much any size) without the added bulk of the common padded hoods for large prime glass 200,300,400,500, 600 2.8 etc) Even for the ridiculous Nikon 14-24 slip on lens cap, LensCoats' the best way to go. 5

The Lens hoodie fits nicely on my Canon 300mm iS f2.8 lens. It is much easier to use than the original Canon cover and it looks better. Love it. 5

I bought the LensCoat Hoodie to use with my Nikon 200-400mm zoom lens. The Nikon cover is big and bulky great for use while traveling with the lens in it's soft case. Once I'm on location I pack away the Nikon cover and its on with the LensCoat Hoodie cover. It works great with the lens hood in place or with the lens hood reversed. 5
