Mount and unmount your Sony a6500 camera safely and quickly with this Camera Cage with Cheese Handle, ARRI Rosette & QR Baseplate for Sony a6500 from CAMVATE. The open design of the durable aluminum cage protects your camera and allows battery and card compartments to remain accessible, while its cheese plate design allows for mounting various accessories. An integrated ARRI rosette mount is provided on the side of the cage.

A cheese handle mounts on top and offers numerous 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 threaded mounting holes. On the bottom, a spring-loaded Arca-style quick release baseplate attaches to the cage and consists of a rod clamp, a mounting plate, and a 1/4"-20 mounting screw. The camera plate allows you to adjust your camera within a distance of 1.6 to 1.8", and the rod clamps are compatible with 15mm rod systems (rods not included). Two Allen wrenches are included for assembly.

A: We have had no response from Lockcircle. We would then have to give our opinion that it looks like the cage can use the Sony SMAD-P3 Multi Interface Shoe.

A: The size of the a6600 and the a6500 are very similar. The only big size difference is the handgrip. The handgrip on the a6600 is larger. I can see the top of the cage can get in the way of the buttons on the top of the handgrip. Other than that it believe it should fit, however, I can not guarantee that it will.

A: Hello,At present, this cage is not compatible with a Speed Booster. However, Tilta is working on adapting cages for these adapters. The first batch will be the ES-T37 cages for the GH5, and we hope to see the ES-T27 and ES-T37 in the future, though that process is entirely up to Tilta, including the order of products they adapt. We will continue passing on this information on our customers' behalf.

Q: 6. Will this fit the sony a6300?

A: Since this cage lists the A6000, A6300 and A6500 as compatible we feel it should work with the A6400 as well.
