Patterns, or gobos, are widely used by designers in theatre, film, photography and television to create atmosphere, project scenery, and generally enhance the visual impact of their lighting.

Conceived by some of the world's leading lighting designers, the Rosco range presently includes hundreds of standard steel gobo designs.

To insure design integrity the patterns are etched using a precise double-sided process on stainless steel. The result is durable, high quality patterns which will withstand the extreme heat at the gate of ellipsoidal spotlights.

Rosco steel gobos are round to allow for rotation in the gate when aligning the projected image.

The standard "B" size is suitable for most fixtures with a 6" lens when used with a Rosco Pattern Holder or the holders of other manufacturers.

Trimming of patterns, where necessary, can be easily accomplished with a pair of scissors.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Will this matte box cause a vignette with a 18mm lens on a super 35 camera (FS700)?

A: It completely depends on how far forward you have the 18mm lens in the matte box. I know that sounds obvious, but if you are using a prime 18mm, and you don't have the matte box back close enough to the lens, then yes, you will get some vignetting. Just slide your box closer to the lens and you'll be fine.

Q: 2. Does Dot Line Matte Box MB3 fit sony ax100 4k ?

A: Not unless you buy a universal base plate that has the height to elevate the camera above the lens opening. The kicker is that even cheap base plates are several hundred dollars. Hope this helps.

Q: 3. Does this handle have a 1/4-20 thread on the bottom ?

A: Unfortunately no, the Dot Line SMARTbracket 7 Padded Handle does not have a 1/4-20 thread on the bottom. You could use this Revo handle instead. Please see the following link:http://bhpho.to/18ckMPH

Q: 4. Does the Dot Line DLC fit the Olympus Pen F?

A: It would depend on the thread in the Pen F shutter button. If it accepts a standard mechanical remote release (i.e., the cable variety) I'd say yes. The DLC fit my Fujifilm X-E2 just fine. One warning: mine fell out and was lost. A replacement has remained in place -- after treating the new button thread with a touch of Loctite Blue.

Q: 5. Can this be used for glock 19 with Holosun 507k red dot? Meaning, are these sights suppresor high sights?

A: The Trijicon Glock 3 Dot Sight Set will fit the Glock 19 but not when used with the Holosun 507k red dot. Instead the Trijicon Glock Bright & Tough Suppressor Night Sight Set (Green Front, Yellow Rear) https://bhpho.to/3NGRnZ6.

Q: 6. Is this actually the model with metal parts (doors, etc)? I want to order, but I dont want to recieve the lesser model that has the plastic doors

A: Yes this model has a rugged aluminum frame and sturdy ABS box with aluminum independent flags.

Q: 7. How useful is this for macro work? Can it be flexed forward at an angle that points the flash immediately in front of the lens?

A: The arm is completely flexible. To answer your main question, while it depends on your camera, your lens and your flash, we believe you can get the flash where you want it.

Q: 8. Does it work on the Fuji XT_10 ?

A: I have XT 20 and it worked on that. You have to be careful, it unscrews easily

Q: 9. Is the button metal or plastic?

A: Button is metal. It also unscrewed itself even though I frequently tightened. The original Abrasom button I had also unscrewed itself. They work great but I cannot keep them on. I am not willing to use lock tight on my Leica.

Q: 10. The picture shows only one spigot, but the review says it comes with 2. Which is correct?

A: The Dot Line FlexiArm (11.8 ) includes two (2) 5/8 spigots, one for each end.

So far so good, but my experience is that these screw-on shutter buttons do not stay on the camera (Fujifilm X100S & XT-1) very long. I suppose if one wanted to use Locktite they might stay on longer, but hten there are very negative issues associated with going down that road..... so enjoy while it stays on the camera.

Does what it says it will do. Makes the shutter touch a little smoother. And you can spin/move the button to turn on/off the camera.

I must give this 5 starts as it works exceptionally well. I just have never used one before so my experience is that it is not for me. I wanted something to cover the threads on my new Fuji XT-2, but i find it to be kind of an odd feeling shutter release. I know some people love them so if you are one then this is a great item.
