This is hands down the best and toughest machete on the market. You won't go wrong with this purchase

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] few key points I like on the machete are the full tang which gives great support when cutting. the hand gard gives it a secure grip so when im hacking away I don't have to worry about my hand slipping on the blade. Final detail I like actually has to do with the sheath I am happy that they didnt cheap out on the clasp and used metal. The look is clean looking and feels good in the hand.

This sheath is perfect for the G450 flashlight. It's lightweight, durable and comes with a belt loop. My only gripe is that it could've been a bit cheaper.

The S-50 Sheath is well made of quality and robust materials, excellent workmanship, accommodates the G455 flashlight perfectly. The Velcro closure is strong and its edges are protected from fraying by the seam and stitching of the cover flap. The elastic is strong and the light does not move around. This sheath will accommodate the G455 with the focus extended as well as with it retracted. Exactly the quality I’ve come to expect with Coast Products.

This sheath is excellent for any larger size flashlight. I see that their are some complaints about this unit but that's because it definitely is not designated for smaller flashlights. It has gaps on the bottom which are necessary to give it enough stretch to fit the bigger flashlights. I use it with my Coast Polysteel 700 or 600R flashlights and it works perfectly I've had it for three months and it still looks new so I think in terms of durability it should hold up well. I've had it on my hip through some tough situations at work and also when I was helping a friend that got their car stuck in a ditch at night. Was definitely happy that I had the light on belt and any time I fire up one of my bigger 700-1000 lumen Coast lights my friends and family are impressed by the power. For the price you really can't beat it and Coast really stands behind their products. Just make sure that you aren't buying it for a smaller flashlight because it will definitely not grip it and the light could fall out the bottom. So in conclusion this sheath is great for any 4AA or rechargeable flashlight that is on the larger size and at least 1" in diameter and 8-10" long (25.4mm x 203-250mm).

My first thought on seeing this machete was, "this is just what I need to complete my ensemble for September 19th". For those who may not be aware, 09/19 is international talk like a pirate day. Okay, so... I am a fan of cutting instruments in general and machetes are my favorite of these implements. I have several, some are crappy flea market finds others are more usable but, this little beauty, the f1400 by Coast is quite simply the finest I own. It offers classic styling with modern materials. It's performance is top shelf all the way. Since I was not in the wilderness when it arrived, I stopped by my buddy's place, he has a woodshop and several gangly trees separating his place from the neighbors. The first thing I did with my brand new f1400, was to pick up a piece of well seasoned hickory 1by scrap to test the saw back. To my delighted surprise it cut through without hesitation and did not, I repeat, did not damage the teeth at all. In fact, they still looked brand new. So, off to the treeline I traipsed, f1400 in hand. Being the all or nothing fellow that I am, I spied a nice 6" diameter limb of the hackberry tree just over my head and commenced hacking away at this hackberries limb. In no time, roughly 8 minutes, the limb was freed from its moorings and lay on the ground at my feet. The f1400 offers style, and quality of performance that you'll be not likely to find at nearly 50% more cost or more. If you are in the market for a great machete, for using while camping, yardwork or perhaps you need to level up your pirate game, you can't go wrong with the f1400.
