A: I just purchased some sleeves from that adapt the 1/4-20 threads to an M3 and M4. I'll see if they'll work once they're in. I have the Smallrig cage, too, but I prefer to use this adapter if possible.

A: The cables are very short therefore it has to mount in the location that you see in the pictures however you have the option of mounting it in an upward or downward position.
