A: I agree with the previous answers. The hood will not fit over the lens if there is a 49mm filter installed. You will need to either forego the hood and lens cap and use a 49mm filter or use the hood and lens cap and buy the 40.5mm filter.

A: I have used it somewhat and it has had equal autofocus to my Sony lenses, but does hunts sometimes. But for the price it is the best lens in this price range.
