This Rigid-Frame Audio Organizer Case from Porta Brace provides an entire solution for the Sound Devices Scorpio mixer/recorder. In a versatile design, it fits the Scorpio, wireless microphones, transmitter, receiver, batteries, cables, connectors, and other equipment.

The case is made of waterproof, 1000-denier Cordura nylon with protective interior padding, and it has a rigid plastic frame inside with an adjustable divider. The Scorpio fits into the rigid frame sideways, allowing access to its controls from the top. Additionally, upon opening a bottom panel, you get access to the mixer from the bottom as well. An included suede shoulder strap lets you wear the case not only around your shoulder but also around your neck so you can have easy access to the top and bottom in the field. A plastic top cover lets you close the top but still see inside.

On the sides of the case, there are zip-off panels that open up to reveal cable ports. Through these ports, cables can be routed into the exterior pockets where other equipment can be kept. On the side of each of these zip-off panels is a pocket for a transmitter or receiver. The case also has a padded outside pocket with a divider and a pocket for a microphone power supply. While the bottom section of the case can be opened, when it's fully closed it features a non-skid, waterproof layer of material for safely setting the case down on the ground.

This rigid frame case can also be used with an optional Porta Brace Audio Harness.
