A NATO rail on top of the crossbar is used to mount this component onto a shoulder rig or other support; it can also be used for attaching compatible accessories. Crossbar v3 features include 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 threads, 1/4" accessory slots, and safety pins on each end of the NATO rail.

(That's because 6mm is just a bit smaller than 1/4".) However, they handles may be used with the included rosette mount adapters. Those adapters will fit into many cages, such as the PRL Director's Cage for TVLogic F-5A and VFM-055A (B&H# PRLMC5TVLGC) with its 1/4"-20 threads and anti-twist pin receivers.
