My first use of the gloves was hiking up to the timberline on Mount Rainier after a snow storm to take landscape pictures at about 7500 feet elevation. My hands were toasty warm and being able to flip open the tips was like nothing ever before. I could easily select settings on my camera without exposing my hands to the freezing temperatures. As a result it was easy to get the pictures I wanted. 5
