Honestly I didn’t have high expectations for this lens. It has become my daily driver for my Lumix G85, the images come out sharp and honestly love the look it brings out.

Package is classy and the lens is solid being full metal with the exception of my E-mount body cap. It feels precise and provides a great aperture range. First photos are very good but demonstrate the need to manually focus your subject. No issues to report and for the price I will recommend.

This is a really solidly built little lens, and was perfect for getting back into photography by ditching the kit lens on my Sony a6000. At f/4 or f/5.6 it's razor sharp, and at f/2 it's soft in a romantic way that can be fun. The aperture clicks so you always know what you're doing, and the focus range is great to have to. An absolute no-brainer of a lens to buy, especially if you're having Fuji x100 envy but instead have an APS-C camera in need of some love.

As a beginner photographer this lens is easy and fun to use. The size is perfect for quick daily use and the build quality is excellent. The MF is also very fun to use and the image quality is great for the price.

I have only used the lens a couple of times with a Sony NEX-7 but so far I am enjoying it. I thought the manual focus would be difficult but using it with the peaking on I find that I don't have a problem at all. For the price you can't go wrong.

Sure, this is a manual-focus lens, but in terms of build feel and optical quality, this lens would be awesome even at twice the price. Sharp even wide open with buttery, pleasing bokeh. Build-wise, the lens feels a bit chunky but it's light enough and well-balanced on my XPro 3. The aperture and focus settings are smooth. Aperture click stops are (numerically) a bit odd. There's one between wide open (f/2.0) and the next logical step up (f/2.8) and no f/11. The metal lens cap is a tedious screw-in type. No lens hood is included. I'm thrilled with my purchase.

Full disclosure, I bought this lens because of its looks. I am that shallow! But, boy I was impressed. Its metal construction, its small size, its clicky aperture and the screw-in metal cap....and amazingly beautiful! And the image, really sharp at wide open. The bokeh is like if it was a 1.2 aperture. I compared head to head with my Panasonic 25mm 1.7, and the bokeh is way superior on the TT Artisans. And the colors too! For $55 it's a no brainer! Just get it and thank me later. One thing, for a reason I can't understand it cannot be used with IS on my Pen F, it drives the IS crazy. It works great on my OM-5 and G9. If you need a 25mm lens, get this one, if you don't mind manual focus. It will make you a better photographer.... :)

This is such a nice little lens. I love small pancake lenses like this, and for the price point you really can't get any better than this. It was briefly unavailable for the Canon EF-M style but B&H let me know as soon as was available once again and I couldn't resist
