A: My apologies for this. I just contacted the manufacturer, and they don't have a manual for the model. But we did add a photo onto this item showing how to use the model and adjust the legs. There is also a video on Barska's site demonstrating how to use the model.

Q: 6. How much weight can this base hold on top of it comfortably?

A: Savage does not list the support weight of the Savage Rolling Base. It is made for a c stand column and most of can support up to 22lb. I would not go over that. And better to not put over 18lb .

A: The Weaver Multi-Slot Base Mount was made for the Savage Axis 506 and will not fit your Savage Mark II. You will need the Weaver #24 2 piece rail for you Mark II.
