Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Where can i see the Expiration date on online?

A: Unfortunately online there is no way to check the expiration date of each individual pack of film.

Q: 2. Is this priced as one roll or 3 rolls?

A: Kodak ColorPlus 200 Color Negative Film (35mm Roll Film, 36 Exposures) is one (1) roll of film.

Q: 3. Could you reduce price for high quantity?

A: Unfortunately, we cannot. The prices we have listed for film are the best that we can offer.

Q: 4. Is it ok to store the film in the fridge for like 9 months after it’s already exposed and then develop it? Will it be effected?

A: You can certainly keep film in the fridge, exposed or unexposed, but I don't know that I would wait 9 months to have it developed. The sooner the better.

Q: 5. What is the expiration date?

A: Typically the expiration date is about a year from purchase.

Q: 6. Is this film fairly good for portrait or for general people shots?

A: Yes, this film would be very good for general photography and people.

Q: 7. expiration date?

A: B&H buys and sells film in bulk. In general we regularly maintain fresh film stock. All of our film is at least 6 months from expiration (typically much longer). Anytime film stock is less than 6 months from expiration we sell it in a separate section and label it as short-dated film and also price it with a slight discount (again due to the volumes we sell this rarely occurs). Unfortunately we do not have access to our inventory to hand inspect the expiration date of any of our films prior to purchase.

Q: 8. How many exposures do I get with half frame camera?

A: Regarding the Kodak ColorPlus 200 Color Negative Film (35mm Roll Film, 36 Exposures) and how many exposures you get with a half-frame camera, it would be generally 72 frames.

Q: 9. What's the difference between color plus and gold/ultramax?

A: The main difference between the two options is the Kodak ColorPlus 200 Color Negative Film (35mm Roll Film, 36 Exposures), B&H # KO20036CP, is a medium-speed film and has an ISO rating of ISO 200, while the Kodak GC/UltraMax 400 Color Negative Film (35mm Roll Film, 36 Exposures), B&H # KOGC36, is a high-speed film and has an ISO rating of ISO 400. If you are shooting in bright light (or if you will be pushing/pulling your film for overexposure/underexposure), you may wish to use the ColorPlus 200, while if you are shooting sports or shooting in slightly lower light, the UltraMax 400 would be a better option for your usage needs.

Q: 10. Is this film DX coded?

A: Yes, the Kodak ColorPlus 200 Color Negative Film (35mm Roll Film, 36 Exposures) is DX coded.

This film has recently risen to the top of my favorite color negative films (and films in general). It gives great saturated, yet some how pastel colors with a perfect amount of grain. I've never been to big of a fan of Portra so in my shooting this film has completely replaced it. Ektar has always been my go to, and this film has begun to replace that as well!

I have not shot with color plus before and I was very surprised, I did a portrait photo shoot with not the best lighting on the world and it handled it very well, colors popped and no real lack of detail.

I've used this film before but bought a few rolls at the flagship store while in Manhattan. It did a good job capturing the colors of Midtown and SoHo. I prefer shooting ColorPlus at box speed but it can take a push or two.
