OUTREACH Lite GXT supports 802.3af/at/bt POE standards, so it can draw power from a network connection. If your network switch has PoE, simply connect an OUTREACH Lite GXT up to 328' from the switch to extend your connection another 328' over regular Cat 5e or similar cable. If PoE is not available, the link can be upgraded using an optional PoE injector (not included). No setup or network configuration is required, as OUTREACH Lite GXT automatically determines the optimal network speed, duplex and crossover on connection, and does not require an IP or MAC address.

If a network extension beyond 656' is required, Veracity's optional OUTREACH Max GXT may be installed to extend Ethernet and PoE to OUTREACH Lite GXT. For example, a 984' connection between a PoE switch
