The ULTRAZONE ZMX8210 V2 Professional 8-Channel 3-Bus Mic/Line Zone Mixer from Behringer is an eight-channel audio mixer designed specifically for fixed installations. It can be used to distribute music programming and announcements to up to three zones (rooms) in restaurants, office spaces, health clubs, and houses of worship.

The ZMX8210 V2 lets you take up to eight input signals and route them to any or all 3 destinations. It can allow you to play stereo music for clients waiting in the lobby of your office and page people in the work area. Other features include: a ducker to lower the volume level of the program music in specific zones during announcements, four-band equalization, and remote volume controls can be installed in many areas.

Furthermore, you can use any microphone with the ZMX8210 V2, including a condenser mic, thanks to an onboard 48V phantom power. The mixer's eight inputs are built with high-quality mic preamplifiers for pristine sound quality. Q: 2. How do the VLZ4s compare to the original VLZs in terms of performance? When they stopped making the VLZs in USA, there was a sharp decline in quality.

A: The current line of Mackie VLZs are an evolution of the original 1604s. They have managed to stay relevant and consistently improve on their original design both aesthetically and technologically. They are still the go to mixer in that price point.

Q: 3. Can it record in digital form (like mp3) and be transfered to/from the unit? Or I need an USB model?

A: This is not a recorder at all, just a mixer with various outputs.

Q: 4. can this mixer accept a phono input?

A: The Behringer XENYX 1202FX is designed to accept line level signal only via the RCA or 1/4 inputs. A phono level signal will require a preamp to be connected. The Rolls VP29 is a popular choice.

Q: 5. Is the "direct out" before or after any trim/gain adjustment? Looking to boost 8 mic signals to 8 line level. Will this do it?

A: The direct output on the Rolls RM82 8-Channel Mic/Line Mixer is taken immediately after the preamp stage, before any signal processing or adjustments.

A: Yes you can! There is about 3 of space to access all the ports in the back. The lid comes off and we leave it in the bottom an then plug everything in and away we go!

Q: 8. How do I hook up a piano mic( power mic) to mixer (RM82)?

A: Active speakers only. There is no amplifier section in this mixer.
