Q: 1. CAN I put a Star Adventurer, Canon dslr and lenses on This case?

A: Yes it you can, but the fitment would depend on the exact Canon DSLR and lenses.

Q: 2. What are the dimension?

A: The inside dimensions are 12x9-3/8x4 deep Inside I have my Nikon D7100 with a 18-200 lens and shoulder strap attached. I have another lens 18-105My battery charger2 spare batteries Remote control Spare memory cards There is room for a few more smaller itemsI took this case down 240 miles of the Grand Canyon for 8 days in 2016. It was amazing. Everything stayed dry and was in tact.

Q: 3. i have a d7100 with 18 - 140 and 55 - 300 will this case hold these items? Thanks.

A: Hi. I used the pelikan for a hard disk drive with a cru (see the links below). I am not sure that is enough for your stuff. best wishes. Q: 4. I have a Sigma 150-600mm Sports lens and I would like to know if it would fit in this case and if Not would you recommend a case please? Thanks

A: Terry,I am not familiar with that lens. I would think it would fit but depends on how much other gear you will be placing. I see it with a Nikon D800 with a macro lens and a pretty large macro flash system I have room for my external flash unit and battery charger. Hope that helps

Q: 5. Will this case hold my Canon 5D Mk III, and 3 lenses: 70-200, 24-70, and 100?

A: I have a 7D that fits. I think the 5D body is about the same size. I keep a 17-85 on it in the case, and a 70-300 and flash as well as spare battery, filter, trigger release. I still have room to fit one more lens. Depends on how big your lenses are, however. Since it is airtight, one thing to consider is humidity. First time I used it I had some condensation form. I bought a dehydration pack (a big, rechargeable version of what comes in electronics) and haven't had the problem since.

Q: 6. will the pelican 1400 hold my d7100 and 18-140 and 55-300 lens?

A: Interior Specs of the Pelican 1400 are . 11.81 x 8.87 x 5.18 (30 x 22.53 x 13.16cm) (LxWxH) It may be a little tight but you may be able to create a layout that would work. I skectched out my sizes before ordering to figure out how I was going to fit in my three 1800W HMI bulbs. My instinct for yours might be that it might a little small for what you need.

Q: 7. Will the blackmagic pcc6k fit in this case?

A: Yes, while you will not have a lot of room for much else a Pocket Cinema Camera 6K will fit.

Q: 8. Will a Denecke TS3EL Timecode Slate fit in a Pelican 1400?

A: Yes it will fit very nicely.

Q: 9. I'm after the 1450 case which has a rubber over-molded handle, though I noticed that some photos of the cases don't have that feature. Can you explain why that's the case?

A: I'm not sure what photos you are referring to, but I can tell you that all Pelican cases have similar handles.....however they can vary slightly among different cases. You may need to think about a particular color for your 1450 to get the handle you want. Good luck!

Q: 10. would the pelican 1400 be deep enough to accommodate a NikonD7000 with a grip attached?

A: It's 5 inches high on the inside. Measure your camera's height as it sits on a table. Allow at least 1 extra so the camera is actually sitting on foam and not the case. If that happens, there will be no shock absorption.

This is a great mid sized case, not too big and not too little. We got it to carry items while kayaking, and of course as a Pelican case it's waterproof. Other Pelican cases were either too small for us, or way too big. I can fit my DSLR in the case if needed. Bright yellow color helps it stand out. I wish I had more Pelican cases and then I'd find something to put in them. They're a quality product.

This is my first pelican case and was purchased specifically to carry gear on a week long whitewater rafting trip on the Middle Fork of the Salmon River in Idaho. Worked perfectly and even survived a submersion at Tappan Falls! I was able to fit my Canon 6D, Canon 100-400mm and Canon 17-40mm. I had to keep one lens mounted on the camera in order to do this (there wasn’t enough room to keep separate with adequate foam spacing). Overall very happy with my purchase!

Pelican cases are great. The 1400 case I just purchased, was just an addition to several I already own.

I bought the 1400 for my Canon 70d and 3 L-series lenses. I packed them (and my iphone) for a long canoe-camping trip. On the first day of the trip the canoe hit a submerged tree and capsized. Most of the gear floated down river, but the Pelican's buoyancy kept it trapped in the submerged capsized canoe. (Yes, it all should have been strapped down) After 30 minutes of being submerged in rapid water, we got the canoe loose and the Pelican came free. Upon opening it up, I was happy to find everything in the case was dry as a bone!! Without this case, my gear would have been lost and/or totally ruined. This case saved my gear, and I'd give it 10 stars if I could!

Great size case. Sturdy and durable just like all of their products. Perfect size to store my audio equipment. I have a Zoom H6, mic capsules, NTG2, Tascam DR-10 in this case and still have room left over.

This is the perfect size for my midsize, full-frame dslr (Nikon D750). The height of the 1400 JUST fits the camera (it's actually a little tight, with the lid/bottom foam) but leaves a good amount of room for an extra lens or two, plus a couple accessories. I got the 1300 first but returned it. The 1300 fits the D750 a little better because it is deeper so it's not as tight. But it doesn't leave any room for an additional lens. I attached an image of the 1400 (left) and 1300 (right).

After buying a telescope in May, I found that managing accessories was becoming quite a problem. I saw a reference to Pelican on an online forum, and have since bought 2 - a 1200 and a 1400. With even more accessories on the way, I will likely end up buying another. I like the way it seals and I especially appreciate the pick-apart foam layer. My extra eyepieces, diagonals and photographic adapters are fit into these two cases. I chose the smaller versions because they are easier to fit into nooks and crannies of the trunk of my car.
