The Pelican 1500 Case with Foam (Silver) is an unbreakable, watertight, airtight, dustproof, chemical-resistant and corrosion-proof hard case used to carry any kind of equipment that needs to be protected from the elements. It is made of Ultra-High Impact structural copolymer that makes it extremely strong and durable. It has a 0.25" (6.4mm) neoprene o-ring, easy-open double throw latches that seal perfectly. It includes an automatic pressure equalization valve for quick equalization after changes in atmospheric pressure. It is carried by a folding rubber over-molded handle.

The case includes a three piece foam insert set consisting of; 1 "Egg crate" type foam in lid, 1 Pick 'N Pluck foam insert and one 1.0" foam pad.

A: Some colors are in higher demand and therefore are priced higher. Also they may not be produced in the same quantity is some of the more basic colors.

A: The 1500 should easily accommodate those items. I can fit my DSLR, long throw, short throw and flash system all in the case.

Q: 3. CAN I put a Star Adventurer, Canon dslr and lenses on This case?

A: Yes it you can, but the fitment would depend on the exact Canon DSLR and lenses.

Q: 4. A Korg Monologue (electric keyboard) is approx. 13.5 inches (L) X 11 inches (W) X 3.5 inches (H) -- would this item fit in the Pelican 1500 case with the foam?

A: I don't know.

Q: 5. hi! am wondering if the dividers are movable. are they Velcro??

A: Yes, the dividers are Velcro. They can be easily moved and reconfigured.

Q: 6. Will this case fit a Nikon D750 with battery grip attached?

A: If the camera without lens was placed face down or face up, yes, it would fit. However the camera with grip, being approximately 6.5 high, will not fit standing up in the 6.1 depth of the case.

Q: 7. Is the EMS insert black or white ?

A: The inserts for this case would be black.

Q: 8. Cash on delivery or emi option available ?

Q: 9. I would like to use this in a kayak. Will this case float is loaded with camera gear?

A: It has a buoyancy rating of 50 pounds which means you can put up to 50 pounds in the case and it will still float.

Q: 10. How much space does the top and bottom layer of foam take up? It says 6.12 interior height, but that's before the foam inserts.

A: Hi,I took out also top and bottom foam layer and measured them together: I got 6.2cm or 2.441 inch thickness both together. Interestingly - sum of all foam layers is giving me only 5.786 inch (14,696cm) or slightly less than reported 6.12 .

There is a reason Pelican cases are expensive--they are extremely well made and fully live up to every single claim they make about durability and security. This is an excellent hard case that is fully weather- and waterproof. I have just returned from a full week in the Canadian wilderness with two of these cases, and the contents of these cases were fully protected throughout, including during the capsizing of a canoe. The case is extremely easy to operate, and has handy stay-open latch mechanism. It balances well when fully opened, so does not fall over backward. There are feet on two sides of the case, so it stands and is very stable whether lying flat or standing handle-up. When lying flat the case is fully flat on the inside, allowing you to stow, sort and arrange gear very nicely. There is a great deal of space inside. The case is very light. We put two, loaded, inside a single checked back and did not incur an overweight fee. Mind the latches. They make a distinctive click when fully engaged, so make sure you have fully closed the latch. After the trip, it cleaned up very nicely in a large sink with dish soap and water. Apart from the scratching, you'd never know it had been out in the wilderness. Also, now that the trek is done, I intend to use these cases at home, for valuable objects. Bottom line: this is an outstanding case, lightweight and extremely sturdy, designed well and fully waterproof. You get what you pay for, and you get it all when you pay for this case. 5

I'm using this for all of my photo/action cam equipment. The pick 'n pull foam is great, and it's easy to custom fit these cases to your needs. You can also tell that your items will be safe - the case is durable and well-constructed. 5

I'm a Fire Investigator and use the case to carry a camera on a Fire Truck. It has plenty of room for the camera, lenses, flash, charger Etc. Provides excellent protection from damage. 5

I used the case to protect a mobile projector. I was able to fit the projector, remote control and cables into it. For the Pick n' Pluck foam, start out with a small area first. You can always rip more of it out later. 5

I bought this case based on my previous experience with Pelican cases. They are not feather light but can take a lot of abuse. Any time I need to transport some fragile stuff, this is my choice. The only thing I wish for is that the small padded dividers were a mix of two sizes to accommodate larger items. There is always an option to stick two together but it is not as neat. Otherwise I cannot imaging any possible improvement. Two thumbs up. 5

THIS IS THE BEST CASE. I USE IT TO CARRY AND PROTECT MY GLOCK 45 AND MY SMITH & WESSON 1911 45 PISTALS. I LIKE THAT THE CASE IS AIR TIGHT AND WATER TIGHT AND DUST PROOF. ALSO THE PRICE WAS GREAT FOR WHAT YOU GET. THERE IS NOT ONE THING BAD I CAN SAY ABOUT THE 1500 PELICAN CASE. WILL BUY MORE SOON FOR MY CAMERAS. 5
