The L-Plate for FUJIFILM GFX 50R from Really Right Stuff is an Arca-type compatible fixed L-plate that facilitates easier, more stable switching between horizontal and vertical shooting orientations. Laser-engraved center marks on the back of the plate help to keep the camera centered while mounted to the plate. The L-Plate maintains complete access to the battery door and the camera's ports, all without obstruction of the camera's LCD monitor. The L-plate attaches to the camera via its 1/4"-20 threaded mount, and the CNC-machined aluminum L-plate has a durable Type II black anodized finish. An integrated QD socket is located on the bottom of the plate for a quick-detach strap system along with a 1/4"-20 threaded socket for accessories.

Fit is perfect. It doesn't have the two anti-twist pins that the Fujifilm hand grip has but the entire front edge of the bracket fits into the entire length of the camera front bevel so there is no chance of play or slip with the attachment screw tightened. Attachment of straps is excellent. There is a recessed slot for the 1/2 hand strap as well as the QD hole for straps that have use the standard QD system. Moving from hand strap or shoulder strap to tripod is fast and no fuss. Very well engineered and manufactured. Highly recommended! 5

I don't think this will ever leave the camera body. Well made, no wiggling or wobbling, and for me the grip extension is what really separated this from alternative options. This was my first time purchasing an RRS product, and over 200 for an L-bracket felt ridiculous, but being able to transition between handheld with an enhanced grip and tripod shooting so seamlessly is well worth it. 5

You feel pain only once when you buy RRS things. And then you enjoy the quality of craftsmanship and practical design for life [of the camera in this case]. I use it with the RRS ball-head I bought around 15 years ago, and it still works like new. 5
