A: At the time of purchase, you are automatically registered for Apple Care, when purchasing with a new computer. This was my experience, anyway. If you click on the Apple logo on your computer, then select About This Mac, then select service, there is an option to check my service and support coverage status as well as show my service and repair options and tell me more about the AppleCare Protection Plan . The first asks for permission to send your serial number to Apple, then opens your browser and shows you your options. If you're covered, you should see a representative picture of your laptop along with the serial number. If you're not covered, I guess you could buy the coverage from Apple directly. You'd need to go to their website for more information.

Q: 5. Will this work with refurbished Macs?

A: This will be compatible with any 11, or 13Apple computer providing it is still within the Apple one year warranty that was included with the computer. This includes computers refurbished by Apple.

A: No, this would not cover accidental damage.

A: If the computer was purchased directly from Apple (Refurbished, or not) AppleCare can be purchased providing the system is still within the original Apple warranty.

A: Yes, you can still purchase AppleCare through B&H if the computer has been purchased elsewhere.

A compact, weighty and well designed dock. I like the ability to charge my Envy laptop vis the USB C port. Not sure why the AC adaptor has to be so large and heavy - seems at odds with the svelte design of the docking unit. 5

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This dock was a birthday gift to myself, and boy was it worth it! It came in great packaging that kept it safe during its long journey, and when hooked up to my ProBook 450 G6 and my peripherals I can turn everything on with the push of a button. And when using Windows 10's display settings I can use both screens to expand my workspace. My take on it is that I can have a video on my monitor and my work, such as Email, on the laptop. All in all, it's a great way to do things! That's a fact. 5

Have the product for over a week now. It does everything I need to do. Video, NIC, etc. The only thing I wish it did was charge my laptop. Found out the USB-C port on my laptop does not let it charge the main battery. Still glad I purchase the product. 5
