The E-Image EK650 Professional Compact Tripod with Fluid Head features dual-stage aluminum tripod legs and a 75mm half-ball fluid head. It supports up to 11 lb via a fixed counterbalance system and offers a combined height range of 30.5 to 66". The tripod legs have ergonomic twist leg locks and removable rubber feet with spikes underneath for use on both flat surfaces and soft ground. A removable mid-level spreader is included for additional stability. The fluid head has independent pan and tilt locks and comes with a quick release camera plate and removable right-sided pan bar. A carry case is also supplied that fits the legs, head, and spreader. The system is also compatible with select E-Image dollies.

A: We're afraid not. You will not be able to use the 502AH head on these legs.

A: This GH08 FLUID HEAD (E-IMAGE) head has fixed drag control for pan and tilt.

Q: 9. What is a mini Euro plate quick-release? Arca-swiss? Manfrotto?

A: Yes, that camera will have a 1/4 mount on the bottom that will allow the camera to be mounted onto this tripod.

I got this tripod on sale as a throw around budget option that I wouldn’t have to worry too much about. I was very surprised with the quality of the components. It’s isn’t a 450 dollar manfrotto, but the fluid head is solid, the locks on the legs are tight, and it’s not flimsy at all. For 150 it’s a steal. 5

This is an excellent entry level tripod. Like with any gear, if cared for, this tripod should last when used under normal circumstances. The EH60 is a good quality entry level head and works well right out of the box. I recommend this product, for the price you get a lot of tripod for the money. The dolly kit is well built, feels solid and performs with ease with ball bearing and large casters. 5

I really like these tripods. I currently use 3 in my studio. The head is smooth and easy to use. The feet are stable. The legs are also easy to lock and unlock, smooth and strong. 5

Ive been using the E-Image for the past three years and have been very satisfied with it. Ive not had any mechanical issues with tension knobs or leaks from the fluid head. Its nice and solid with very little flex. I have seen some of these models where the rubber soles have come off the feet but thats easily fixable with a little glue. The only drawback, IMO, is that theres no good way to add tension to your pans. You can jockey the pan lock to give it a little but thats not what its for. Even so I wouldnt have expected that kind of feature at this price point. This tripod is an INCREDIBLE value, especially since they often run deals to sell it at $150 instead of $220. Cant recommend enough! 5

It is lightweight as I am use to heavy tripods, like Matthews, on par with Bogen, will see after more use. The bag is a pleasure and fits perfect and has padded protection. For indoor use the feet are great. B&H has had the best prices on pro gear ever. The Marantz video mic pre amp PMD 602a was half the price of other places and has been amazing, check that out! 5
