A: These clamps could lock on a bottle when performing a splash shot based on the curvature of the jaws.

A: The actual post is about 8 (inches) long. The bottom half of the clamp to the top of the post is 5 long. Within the clamp jaws you could fit a 3 1/4 item. I wouldn't go larger than 3 though. I use it to hold boom poles on C clamps. Works great!

Essentially a 10 piece of 5/8 threaded rod welded to a 5/8 nut. This is not a complicated piece of equipment. Fits great physically and cosmetically with the rest of the clamp. Greatly increases the mouth of the clamp and therefore its versatility. Easy to get around an apple box, wall, beam, or surface that was just out of reach of the raw clamp. Highly recommended for owners of a center jaw type Matthellini. Creates new opportunities to use these wonderful little clamps. Please note: This only works with the Cardellini/Matthellini Center Jaw. It will not work with an End Jaw configuration. 5

bought with a 3 mathellini and its a great extender, and I saved money. only gripe is the thread isnt as smooth as a mathellini usually is, it sticks ever so slightly so I cant spin the handle as fast... slows down my work and i dont look as cool in front of the crew as id like... :D 5

Only work for Center Jaw Clamp. You can clamp anywhere wider. You also can add more than one. I love having this to have more useful to put my speedlite and camera anywhere. 5
