Q: 1. how many mL in each cartridge, the 245 and 246?

A: They should be about 12ml each.

Q: 2. Will these cartridge's work on my Canon TR8620?

A: Yes, it will

Q: 3. How many pages should I expect to print before having to replace a set of ink tanks?

A: The Canon PGI-280 XL has 22ml in volume and is rated by Canon for up to 500 pages of A4 plain paper (text only). For 4"x6 photos (testing done using Canon Photo Paper Plus Glossy II PP-201) it has a yield of approximately 4600 photos. Q: 4. Why don't these say Chromalife 100+ anywhere on the box? Are they the old Chromalife inks, not the 100+?

A: The Canon PGI-250 & CLI-251 5-Cartridge Value Pack is not listed as having ChromaLife inks.

Q: 5. On average how many photos can I print with this ink

A: Ive printed a few pictures but mainly done basic word printing and had to replace 3 already. No matter what printer in this class that you get, cartridges are small and will run out ink fast based on your printing demands.

Q: 6. Are these the Chromalife 100+ inks?

A: Yes, the color dyes in the CLI-251 cartridges from the Canon PGI-250 & CLI-251 5-Cartridge Value Pack (B&H# CAPGI2505P) are indeed ChromaLife 100+ inks. The PGI-250 black ink is a pigment ink.

Q: 7. How many 4 x 6 prints can I expect to print before replacing the ink cartridge? What is the average yield per ink cartridge?

A: I purhcased these for a friends printer..........and he rarely prints photos from it (maybe 4-5 per monht. But he did print almost a ream of paper per month. Under those circumstances, since 2014, we have never replaced the color cartridge and the black one has been replaced about 3 time per year.Sorry I can't be of more help but my printer where I do a lot of photoprinting uses different cartridges.

Q: 8. How many copies will a tank print?

A: Canon does not publish this information. These cartridges are compatible with 17 printer models and they may each individually have paper usage specifications.

Q: 9. will this work on my CANON ts-8220?

A: Yes, the Canon PGI-280/CLI-281 5 Color Value Pack for Select PIXMA Printers BH #CA2075C006 is compatible with the PIXMA TS8220.

Q: 10. HOW MUCH IS THE OUTPUT OF THESE INK CARTRIDGE CANON PG 275/CL276?

A: The Canon PG-275/CL-276 Value Pack B&W/Color Ink Cartridges for PIXMA TS3520 and TR4720 Printers is rated for an average of 100 printed pages with these printers. Results will vary based on what is being printed and the paper used.

I hate it when they force you to upgrade because supplies become unavailable. Please keep these coming! (Of course they are too expensive!)

I haven't had to use any of the 5 cartridges yet, but I'd like to give B&H an award for how well they package shipments. It's just ink but it was wrapped carefully with bubble wrap. If B&H will be that careful with ink cartridges, I don't doubt that a camera lens or anything especially fragile would also be as well packaged for the cross-country trip. (that trip was only 2 days).

I've never had a problem with genuine Canon ink, and this was no exception. The next trick is to find the correct ink I need at the best price. My printer needs all five of these cartridges as well as a photo blue, but the combo pack that has all 6 together at a slightly better price was out of stock, so I purchased this and one cartridge of the photo blue separately, and they work just as good, just slightly more expensive purchase separately.

Another thing I found that has been incredibly useful to get the best deal is calculating the cost per milliliter for the regular cartridges compared to the XL cartridges compared to the XXL cartridges. What I have discovered is that for the color cartridges it is actually least expensive to purchase the standard quantity cartridges. I could not believe that by buying the XL or the XXL cartridges in greater quantity that they're actually not as cost efficient! Be sure to check that for yourself at current pricing.

Another thing I discovered with my Canon printer is that even though the printer says the cartridge may be empty, I can continue running many more prints on that same cartridge until I finally get a sheet that is clearly out of ink. I was able to replace and print immediately the next sheet and it was perfect. I was originally nervous to do this, because I was afraid air could get in the line and cause problems with the printer, but so far so good. If you want to play it really safe, replace the cartridge as soon as the printer says it may be empty. Happy birthday!
