The encoder allows you to encode and scale video from up to two sources to dual streams for digital signage, broadcast video, and Internet live streaming productions.

The encoder features two HDMI inputs and two RCA analog NTSC video inputs. The two integrated hardware encoder/scalers support video resolutions from analog NTSC to 1080p60 HD, and it encodes into two H.264 or MPEG-2 IPTV streams. There are two S/PDIF and two 3.5mm analog audio inputs that are assignable to the video inputs and support stereo and PCM encoding to AC-3, AAC, or MPEG audio, and it also supports AC-3 pass-through. Other features include dual-language SAP audio support, 608/708 embedded or Line 21 closed captioning, fan cooling, LAN web management, a bright blue menu LCD, front configuration buttons, GPI terminal input, and a half-rack design for easy mounting.
