Obviously a lower ASA than Portra 400, but when it's $5 a roll this or (kodak color plus) should be the first one you grab for everyday photography. It's cheap and dang is it good. Ultramax is also really great too..not as red, but very beautiful so honestly I think you can't go wrong with any of those 3 for the money when it's on sale. Buy it and you will not regret it. Just make sure you can get the 36 instead of the 24 so you get more shots hehe

Living in OK where the sun it a constant, this is perfect for those conditions. I prefer to use it as my test film when I plan to be outside most of the time.

This film was my mainstay when film was king. I must have gone through a mile of it. I now use it to test out my camera purchases, and every once in a while, it still gets me a winning shot, with great sharpness and vivid color.
