I don't really care how repellent they are; my question is "Will they keep your hands warm if they are soaking wet?" My hands will get wet because I dip my hands completely underwater to grab things. Wool gloves retain warmth even if wet, but they take a long time to dry, and they don't have e-tips. I assume Polartec will dry much faster, but will they retain heat while they are still wet, like wool does?

A: It is better than no gloves using the The Heat Company Polartec Wind Pro Liner Gloves. But like most, once your hands eventually get wet they will get cold at some point.
